- AJYAL FILM FESTIVAL 2024 16 Nov 24 - 24 Nov 24 surrounded by creatives and film enthusiasts from all over the world My interest in Art directing has grown tenfold after this incredible journey. I had the privilege of being nominated by @karimafarid to serve as a juror at @ajyalfilm Festival, where we had the opportunity to meet brilliant directors and explore a diverse selection of short and feature-length films. This yearโ€™s theme was -Moments That Matter- discussions were centered on themes of peace, understanding, justice, cultural exchange, self-empowerment, and empathy. Every moment resonated with purpose and connection. Grateful for this unforgettable experience and for the memories created with such an inspiring community. by @wiam.alharthy

. All the way from Belgium , a commission to design a cover for khadidjaโ€™s Phd thesis in pharmaceutical scienceโ€™s ๐Ÿ’Š ๐Ÿ’‰ Her thesis focuses on finding better ways to pay for special medicines called orphan drugs in the EU. The project looks at how to make paying for these drugs more manageable. Cover concept explained: -Biggest element used is the Hour glass representing the limited life time rare disease cause. โŒ›๏ธ -On the upper part of the glass we see a large sum of money that is being pumped down in hope to receive the drug. And still not being able to reach the cure .. as the cure for rare diseases are always with extremely high cost. ๐Ÿ’ฐ -Zebra ribbon ? Is a global sign for awareness on uncommon illnesses ๐Ÿฆ“ -Earth : represents how this is a worldwide problem ๐ŸŒ Many thanks to Dr. khadidja for trusting me on this ๐Ÿซ‚๐Ÿฉต. taken in Oman, Muscat by @wiam.alharthy

BIRWAZ ุจู€ู€ุฑูˆุงุฒ ๐Ÿค Birwaz is an art exhibition made from scratch and curated fully by us students and artists of UTAS. Birwaz means (frame) in Arabic and a frame is known to hold good memories and pieces of beauty, Birwaz resembles our art club in UTAS , were our club is also defined as a space that brings in good memories and filled with beauty of the art and artists themselves. Thankful to my art family and friends for working on this amazing exhibition and bringing it to life ๐Ÿค๐Ÿค @art_utas taken in University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Muscat by @wiam.alharthy
