The Wicker Park Advisory Council is a volunteer-led nonprofit organization that supports our neighborhood park!

You probably know of #BooPalooza, the Sunday concert series, Tuesday night yoga classes, open mic nights, and movie nights - but you might not know that it is the WPAC that funds and organizes these free community events!

We are also behind the Wicker Park Dog Park renovation!

Jake Hawrylak is a singer songwriter, composer, multi instrumentalist and producer from Santa Fe, NM. He has been in Chicago for over a decade and has collaborated with dozens of Chicago musicians including members of Fleet Foxes, Wilco, and Andrew Bird’s band. Maiden King is his solo project and features a rotating cast of Chicago musicians. He can be found most days at Space Cowboy Studios @spacecowboystew , a music studio he runs in Wicker Park. He spends his time there teaching, mixing, producing and recording for many in the Chicago scene.
