Make It Stick Monday | Devotion 🖤

Devotion is showing up even when your name won’t be remembered.

Septima Poinsette Clark devoted her life to education, liberation, and the belief that literacy is power. Her citizenship schools equipped Black people with the tools to vote, to organize, and to claim space in a country that tried to deny them all three.

Because of her devotion, I get to show up authentically.
Because of her devotion, many of us do.

As we introduce Volume 2 of The Wicktionary Edit, we’re honoring the people whose quiet commitment made our becoming possible. This week, we begin with devotion.

📚 Today we honor Septima Clark: educator, architect of freedom, and proof that devotion changes the world.
