Having a house is great, but there's never enough time to do all the work. At least I have someone "helping". by @widdlestick

Annual birthday swim done. 7mm gloves meant I wasn't crying with pain this time. It feels great not to be beholden to the seasons and make the most of the outdoors at any time. by @widdlestick

One whole year of no alcohol.

Started as a random challenge and became a long journey of learning and self-exploration. As with so many things, the absence of something can teach more about your relationship with it than its continual presence. Whilst I always knew that drinking was 'bad' for me, it wasn't until stopping it altogether that I realised how healthy I could be, how much energy I was missing, and how clear My thoughts could be. My own internal motives and the societal pressure to drink are also so much more apparent. I don't yet know whether I will drink again?

Anyway, it's a surprise I can write this given how drunk I am. by @widdlestick

Not sure what the legal saliva content limit is for cupcakes. I think the sugar should mask it though. by @widdlestick

The peak District is such a wonderful playground. The more I look the more I find. A couple of nights out above Dovedale and Kinder with a good friend are the restful (aka exhausting) break I need. by @widdlestick
