An impression of Competition (without social media), live at @podium34borger A great indie/post-punk band with equally great tunes and they happen to be the nicest people around as well. Looking forward to sharing a stage with them again soon! #concertphotography #tourlife #popronde #popronde2026 by @widlun

Photo’s from the mesmerising performance @annajoanofficial gave at @de_nachtzuster for @poprondetilburg during @popronde . This performance had it all. It was both powerful and fragile, inviting and alienating. Loud and danceable and quiet and intimate. The red light made it quite challenging for me as a n00b photographer with limited gear, so I made it all about the atmosphere and experimented with my prism lens birthday gift, which was super fun. Go check out Anna Joan when you have the chance. You won’t be disappointed. These photo’s don’t do it justice at all. #concertohotography #prismlensfx #fujilove #popronde #streetphotography by @widlun

A selection of the photo’s I took during @deplaag at their @popronde_arnhem @popronde show at @cafekroon . If you want to get a party started, make sure you invite these lovely people. The venue was quoted small and (unfortunately for me, good for everyone else 😅) fully packed with people, so I was limited to the viewpoint of where I was standing. You’ve got to work with what you get and the situation. #concertphotography #blackandwhitephotography #tourlife #fujilovers #streetphotography by @widlun

Experimenting with flash is a lot fun, but also super volatile. It’s quite hard to exactly get the results I am after. Learning a lot. Love it! And these kind of shows are like the perfect gift for it. Photo’s from the amazing @aquelarre_______ @popronde_eindhoven show at @nieuweindhovenspeil Shout out to the awesome guys at the front! #concertphotography #flashphotography #tourlife #punkshows #popronde by @widlun

Back to posting photo’s of Popronde shows. This time of @kram4ever who were playing at @nieuwenor for @poprondeheerlen @popronde . Great band, great sound! #concertphotography #gigphotography #giglife #popronde #fujilove by @widlun

And now for something completely different. A sunny September Sunday afternoon. I went out to shoot some early sunny autumn colors, wilting and dried up flowers and to test this really cool prism lens filter I got as a birthday present from my band mates. So I went to the allotment in my neighbourhood where met this nice lady who was working there and she was kind enough to let me take her picture. #streetphotography #naturephotography #portrait #prismlensfx by @widlun

Photo’s from the @eyesoresband @poprondeheerlen gig at @cafebluff045. It’s really fun to try and capture the energy that is there in the moment. There was lots of it!! #concertphotography #streetphotography #popronde #punk by @widlun

A couple of behind the scenes/backstage photo’s of the @hoofs_music @popronde tour show at Burnside skatepark in @poprondedeventer . 27 shows over the course of roughly 11 weeks. I want to document as much as possible of all of them, so expect more silly stuff. #behindthescenes #backstage #lifeontour #documentaryphotography_bw #photography by @widlun

Trying to capture the energy, movement and dynamics of a show. Going for artistic rather than technical, while experimenting a lot with flash, iso and shutter drag. Really nice show of @deformuleofficial at their @poprondedeventer show at @burnsideskatepark #concertphotography #musicphotographer #streetphotography by @widlun

Some photo’s I took from the @postellaband show at @merleynnijmegen for @poprondenijmegen @popronde Go check them out when you have the chance!! #concertphotography #streetphotography #popronde #poprondenijmegen by @widlun

Documenting @hoofs_music @popronde @poprondenijmegen show at @merleynnijmegen Here’s a selection of behind the scenes shots and even some that I took on stage while we were playing, trying to catch the atmosphere. It was a lovely night and thank you so much @postellaband for being the saviour of the day by lending us your snare drum ❤️. Photo’s of their set will follow. #poprondenijmegen #popronde #merleynnijmegen #behindthescenes #concertphotography by @widlun
