🍎 Future Teacher Friday Spotlight 🍎

This week, we’re recognizing Madelyn Mohr, a senior from Maple Northwestern!

Madelyn is going to University of Minnesota Duluth where she hopes to continue her journey toward becoming a music educator.

Madelyn shares:

🚗 Wisconsin FCCLA at the Wisconsin Governor’s Conference on Highway Safety!

We were honored to showcase how FCCLA is empowering students and families to make an impact in teen driver safety as we were invited to attend the Wisconsin Governor’s Conference on Highway Safety! We are proud that the Thorp FCCLA lead a breakout session, “Student-Led Teen Driver Safety Fair,” highlighting the incredible safety fair their chapter brings to their community using resources from Teens in the Driver Seat. Thank you to our Board of Directors Chair and Dodgeville FCCLA Chapter Adviser, Sarah James, for representing Wisconsin FCCLA as an exhibitor, connecting with highway safety leaders, and sharing how FCCLA contributes to families acting for traffic safety. We were proud to exhibit alongside FCCLA Partner Safe Roads Challenge and their CEO, Bill Bland!

🍎 Future Teacher Friday 🍎

This week, we’re recognizing Malik Wolfgram, a senior from Mosinee!

Malik hasn’t committed to a college yet, but his first choice is the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he hopes to continue his journey toward becoming a music educator.

Malik shares:

“My choir teacher, Mrs. Dul, inspired me to pursue music education. Her passion for music and teaching shows in the genuine care she has for her students and the safe, welcoming space she creates in her classroom. She is someone any student can turn to, whether they are in choir or not. Seeing the kind of impact she has on students has inspired me to become that kind of teacher for others.

My job as a swim instructor has also inspired me to become a teacher. I love watching students grow over time and being someone who can mentor and encourage them along the way. One of my favorite parts of teaching is the ‘aha!’ moment, when something finally clicks and you get to see a student’s face light up. That feeling is amazing.”

We’re excited to see where Malik’s passion for music, mentorship, and helping students grow takes him next. Wisconsin FCCLA is cheering him on as he begins his journey toward becoming an educator! ❤️
