Welcome to WikiTechRoots

Africa's innovation ecosystem is growing every day, yet many of our tech communities, innovation hubs, and changemakers remain underrepresented online.

WikiTechRoots was created to help change that.

Through Wikipedia awareness, training, and collaborative editing, we are empowering young people to contribute to open knowledge and improve the visibility of African innovation on Wikimedia platforms.

This is a step towards ensuring that Africa's stories are documented, discoverable, and accessible to the world.

Follow along as we build a community of contributors shaping the future of open knowledge.
