I truly love the ocean, the beach, and the sand… but I’m also quite scared of it.

These three days in Lombok didn’t feel like a “perfect trip,” but more like a quiet conversation with myself.

From going with the flow on Day 1, to overcoming my fear and trying snorkeling on Day 2, and then facing my nervousness (and giving up) during surfing on Day 3 — I realized that many of my fears were just limits I placed on myself.
Some things become easier the moment you take the first step.
And for the things you’re not ready for yet, that’s okay too.

This trip reminded me:
Growth isn’t always about pushing forward — sometimes it’s about knowing when to be brave, and when to let yourself be. by @wil.92
