"Find the apex predator."

Took you a second, didn't it?

Here's the truth wildlife photography rarely shows you: even a tiger — India's most powerful predator — is just a small figure against the vastness of the land it rules. The grass, the water, the hills, the birds… and somewhere in it all, a striped shadow moving through the green.

And look closer at those rooftops in the distance. People live here. Wake up here. Farm here. This isn't wilderness versus humanity — it's wilderness alongside it. Coexistence isn't a slogan out here. It's an everyday act!

The tiger doesn't conquer this landscape. It belongs to it. Same as us.

Choti Madhu’s subadult was spotted during the Evening Safari at Junoona Buffer on 5th July. Single gypsy sighting. We first found this beautiful lady relaxing in a waterhole, and then she gracefully walked right in front of our gypsy — a truly unforgettable moment in the wild.

Two subadults from two different jungles — both among the smallest tiger landscapes in India. Radha from Tipeswar and Chavva from Bor.
