POSTS STORIES REELS
Wild Hill has been named Hotel of the Year at the Tatler Best Africa Awards 2026! To our team, this is yours. All of it. Thank you for looking after this place the way you do, for all the hundreds of small things a day that nobody sees, but feels. To our partners, designers @pollospurdon and to the community and the families around us, thank you for trusting us with it, and for everything you’ve taught us about this corner of the Mara. And to our own family, who’ve been in it from the very start. We’re one small part of something much bigger out here. Today we feel that more, and are forever grateful! Thank you @tatler_africa 📸 @amymayroux #collectioninthewild #wildhill #tatlerafrica #hoteloftheyear #best100 by @wild.hill

Perched high above the Mara, almost floating between earth and sky. @wild.hill is something quite extraordinary. Shot on assignment for @dmafrica. Special thanks to @claire_eastwood 🤍 by @wild.hill
Golden hour on the hill. From our perch high on Kileleoni Hill, it’s a moment we never tire of. Photos by @amymayroux #wildhill #collectioninthewild by @wild.hill
Carved directly into the summit of Kileleoni Hill - the highest peak in the greater Maasai Mara ecosystem - stands Wild Hill. This architectural masterpiece, with its living grass roofs and stone sourced straight from the peak, is far more than a luxury estate- a physical crown of a historic environmental turnaround. A decade ago, skeptics said this land was too degraded, too intensely farmed, and too empty of wildlife to ever recover. But founders Tarquin and Lippa Wood partnered with local Maasai landowners to prove them wrong - using an unlikely tool: livestock. By trading fences for a single, holistically managed cattle herd, they mimicked the ancient, brief grazing patterns of wild herds. The short-grazed grass returned richer, the soil regenerated, and the apex predators followed. What started as a bean farm is now part of a thriving 45,000-acre fenceless wilderness corridor protected by 700 local families. A little time to restore. Our spa is a space to slow down, reconnect and enjoy a little time entirely to yourself. From restorative massages and facials to the warmth of our wood-fired sauna and the invigorating contrast of a cold plunge, each experience invites you to settle into a slower pace. Time to pause. To breathe. To simply be. #wildhill #collectioninthewild by @wild.hill

Step beyond the horizon, into a quieter world… Perched high on Kileleoni Hill, Wild Hill invites you to slow down, settle in and take in the extraordinary landscape that unfolds in every direction. A little closer to the sky, a world away from the ordinary. #wildhill #collectioninthewild by @wild.hill
A house on a wild hill, just for you. High above the Mara, Wild Hill is a place where the days are entirely your own. Mornings might begin with yoga on the rooftop, followed by a long breakfast, a restorative massage, or time moving between the warmth of our wood-fired sauna and a refreshing cold plunge. And then there are the moments in between. The changing light across the hills, the extraordinary views, the pleasure of having nowhere else to be. With our team taking care of every little detail, all that’s left for you to do is enjoy being here. Your own private hill, and all the time in the world. 📸 @amymayroux #wildhill #collectioninthewild by @wild.hill
