POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Living Free is a crime. ‘Encampment Issues’ they call it. ‘Widespread’. Carefully selected phrases to create a narrative of disapproval by the masses.
How brainwashed has society become. People doing the dirty work of the government who wants us all depressed and rallied into tiny apartments or homeless shelters depressed on pharma or on drugs to numb the pain of failed marriages and failed dreams while they pollute the skies with toxins, invade our privacy with Flock cameras, impose medical experiments on us, and use our tax money to launder for themselves in the name of war and debt.
They call this an encampment problem. I call this either people cannot afford to live anymore or no longer want to live anymore in a corrupt, morally bankrupt, manipulative, toxic, SYNTHETIC society.
Wrangling us out from the forests we retreat to like the hunger games only to push us back into the place we escaped from.
Whose choice is it.
Live free or die isn’t even an option anymore. by @wild_root_alchemy

The body remembers what the mind has forgotten.
Sweaty. Wild. Alive. Moving completely in sync from instinct. @malyn.dz and I will be bringing dance and plant medicine gatherings: movement, rhythm, herbs, ritual and the freedom to return to the primal, intuitive self beneath all the noise.

There is something sacred about letting the thinking mind fall away and allowing the body to speak.

The body is not separate from the spiritual path. There is living energy that moves through all things. Sometimes we meet her in stillness. Sometimes in breath. Sometimes barefoot, sweating, drumming, moving until there is no thought left about how we look or who we are supposed to be.

Just rhythm.
Instinct.
Expression.
Freedom.

Channeling not of something outside ourselves, but something intuitive already within us.

Less performance. More remembering. 🌿 by @wild_root_alchemy

💛 Dandelion. The sun, the moon, the stars. 🌙

Dandelion is one of the most respected healing plants in traditional Western herbalism for a reason.
Every part of it is medicine. 🌼

• Liver support — Traditionally used to stimulate bile flow, support detoxification, digestion, hormone metabolism, and sluggish liver function. Herbalists like David Winston often speak about bitter plants restoring proper digestive and metabolic function rather than simply “cleansing.”

• Lymphatic movement & fluid balance — Dandelion leaf is deeply mineral rich and acts as a gentle diuretic without stripping potassium the way pharmaceutical diuretics can. Traditionally used for water retention, stagnation, puffiness, and supporting kidney function.

• Heart support — The potassium, magnesium, bitter principles, and circulatory support in dandelion have made it a longtime ally for the cardiovascular system in traditional herbalism. Healthy fluid balance eases strain on the heart while the mineral content nourishes the body deeply.

• Digestive fire — Bitters wake up digestion. Dandelion has been used for centuries to support stomach acid, digestive enzymes, bloating, sluggish digestion, and nutrient absorption.

• Blood sugar & metabolism — Traditional herbal systems and emerging research both point toward support for glucose balance, insulin sensitivity, and metabolic health.

• Inflammation & skin — Herbalists have long turned to dandelion for inflammatory skin conditions, acne, eczema, boils, and congested skin states because the liver, lymph, kidneys, and skin are all connected pathways of elimination.

• Mineral powerhouse — Rich in potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, and antioxidants. Wild food as medicine. Nourishment, not just symptom management.

• Rooted resilience — This plant breaks through concrete and keeps coming back. Many herbalists see dandelion as medicine for resilience, adaptability, survival, and remembering that healing often begins with the plants growing closest to us. by @wild_root_alchemy

Earth acts like a gigantic electrical reservoir. When your body touches conductive ground, electric charges move between your body and Earth, bringing them toward the same electrical potential.
 You’re made of the same elements as the landscape. Oxygen, carbon, and calcium in you is in the world around you. Belonging to nature has a literal material basis.
A walk in nature in comparison to an urban walk, can produce measurable changes in brain activity alongside less repetitive negative thinking.
Trees, ferns and clouds contain fractal patterns—shapes that repeat at different scales. The theory of “fractal fluency” suggests that our visual systems are adapted to process these natural patterns efficiently, which may explain why they feel so satisfying and restful. Built environments, with their blank walls and straight edges, often lack this layered complexity. Nature offers our eyes a richness that many of our everyday surroundings are missing. by @wild_root_alchemy

But just as sure as the tide starts turning
Just as sure as the night has dawn
Just as sure as rainfall soon runs dry
When you stand in an eye of the storm
I was made to be tested and twisted
I was made to be broken and beat
I was made by His hand, it’s all part of His plan
That I stand on my own two feet
And you know me, my will is eternal
And you know me, you’ve met me before
Face-to-face with a beast, I will rise from the east
And I’ll settle on the ocean floor
And I go by many names also
Some people know me as “hope”
Some people know me as the voice that you hear
When you loosen the noose on the rope
And you know how I know that I’ll prosper?
‘Cause I stand here beside you today
I have stood in the flames that cremated my brain
And I didn’t once flinch or shake
So cower at the man I’ve become, when I sing from the top of my lungs
That I won’t retire, I’ll stand in your fire, inspire the weak to be strong
And when I am gone, I will rise in the music that I left behind
Ferocious, persistent, immortal like you, we’re a coin with two different sides by @wild_root_alchemy

Herbal Cold & Sore Throat syrup. Most OTC formulas have food dyes, some kind of processed sugar and chemicals which are so far from what your body needs while fighting something off. Even worse for kids delicate systems.
*Plantain leaf
* turmeric
* ginger
* clove
* black pepper
* Elderberries
* Elderflower
* Marshmallow root
* Ceylon cinnamon
* Honey
* ACV

Never meant to be digestible.
One who walks into the forest and comes back carrying medicine.
Turns grief into art, plants into alchemy, ashes into creation.

forage.
create.
mother.
build.
bleed.
heal.

There is no part is willing to amputate itself to make the world more comfortable.

I am not the only one.

The one who were taught our power is too wild, too emotional, too sexual, too intelligent, too loud, too difficult to control.

Good.

Let them choke on the women they could not reduce.

We are gathering every piece and become whole enough to terrify anything that once survived by keeping us small.

Our arrival. by @wild_root_alchemy

I was called to step into plant alchemy.
The calling was not only about the plants.
It was about entering the forest with reverence. Gathering medicine with my own hands. Creating something from the living Earth—and carrying it into the world to share with others.

Through every festival, every journey, every conversation and exchange, I felt the invisible threads that connect us: plant to person, person to person, body to spirit, and all of us back to the Earth.

There are powers moving through this life that no one can map or truly describe. We feel them when strangers recognize something in one another. When energy is exchanged. When the forest speaks. When medicine becomes ceremony. When we remember that even in the midst of chaos, something ancient is still guiding us toward healing, connection and awakening.

This has been more than a season of travel, foraging and festivals.

It has been a great awakening. by @wild_root_alchemy

I went to the mountains to be reborn.
Within me I caught fire. A truth I could no longer silence, burning through everything that was not real, not mine, not right.
I let it burn. I grieved what fell to ashes. I stood before the ruins I had held onto for too long.
I went into the mountains.
I brought my sorrow. My longing. My strength. All the love that had survived. I sat with them beneath an open sky, with nothing to prove and no one to become.
I came to myself.
The mountains held me while I remembered. by @wild_root_alchemy

The Mysteries of the Mushroom
Mushrooms are more than organisms, they are catalysts of consciousness, possibly helping awaken language, imagination, spirituality, and our ability to see beyond the isolated ego.
Mushroom are an ancient intelligence speaking through symbol, pattern, and vision reminding humanity that we are not separate from nature, but woven into its living mind.
The mystery remains
Did humanity discover the mushroom or has the mushroom been shaping humanity all along?
I’d say the later for sure.
These are some of the more interesting mushrooms Iv seen but there are so many out there to connect with. by @wild_root_alchemy
