I want to take a moment to sincerely thank Johnny at @torontoautomotiverepair.

After everything that happened with @wild_sc there were times when I was ready to throw in the towel and walk away from the car completely. But Johnny refused to let that happen. More than once, he stepped up, brought WILD_SC back to life, and made sure this build didn’t die.

Johnny, thank you for your patience, dedication, honesty, and for never giving up and even when the car tested everyone involved. Without you, WILD_SC simply would not be here today.

It’s only right that I publicly recognize everything you’ve done. You didn’t just repair a car, you helped keep a dream alive.

I have the utmost respect and appreciation for you, Johnny. Thank you for always standing behind WILD_SC. 🙏 by @wild_sc

😂 This needs a little attitude, especially because you’ve basically turned the backyard into a Vibrant Performance showroom.

When you know you’re happy with the parts on your car…
you start advertising them in your own backyard. 😂🔥

The Wild_SC has had plenty of Vibrant Performance parts over the years, so I figured the banner deserved a permanent spot.

Only problem…

With this much backyard real estate, that banner is looking a little small. 😂

I’m gonna need the XXL version next time! 🤣🔥

When you trust the products enough to run them on the car AND hang the name at home… I think that says it all. 💪

⚠️ FRESH TRANSMISSION… OLD DEBRIS = BIG PROBLEMS ⚠️

You just spent thousands rebuilding your transmission.

New clutches ✅
New steels ✅
New converter ✅
Fresh ATF ✅

But what about the OLD debris still hiding in the system? 👀

Metal and clutch material can remain trapped in the cooler, lines and converter. Start circulating fluid again and that contamination can potentially find its way back through your fresh build.

🔥 DEBRIS → WEAR → MORE DEBRIS → MORE WEAR

Possible result?

⚠️ Restricted filter/flow
⚠️ Valve-body issues
⚠️ Clutch & steel wear
⚠️ Converter/TCC problems
⚠️ Heat
💸 Another teardown

🛑 THE LESSON IS SIMPLE:

If a transmission has had significant debris:

FLUSH THE ENTIRE SYSTEM.

Clean the lines.
Inspect/cut open the filter.
Properly flush the cooler.
If you can’t guarantee the cooler is clean — REPLACE IT.
And don’t forget contamination can remain in the converter.

A cooler is cheap compared with rebuilding everything TWICE.
