POSTS STORIES REELS

Epic. That’s about the only word I can think of to describe our final shows this past week. Thank you so much to Mile of Music, Appleton, all the bands, production and festival staff / volunteers. What an honor to be able to play for you all.

There’s a nearly tangible energy in your pocket of the world that has embraced us and encouraged us to express ourselves further. That safety to be authentic is important. We are forever grateful that you opened your arms to us.

The three Wild A sets felt triumphant this weekend. To play for thousands of people halfway across the country from where we grew up is just mind blowing. Our dreams came true because of you. We capped it all off with a heart filled Super Jam on Sunday night that had members of 25 different acts participate.

To everyone who attended one of our last shows, we send a deep debt of gratitude for spending some time with us before we take a break. I’m so proud of this band, each member individually and all of the memories we have to cherish forever.

The story continues, but it’s time to turn this page. We’ll see you out there, friends!

He almost chose a stable career over music.

That decision point hits harder than people realize.

Travis Gray is a dynamic singer, guitarist, and songwriter from upstate New York, best known as the frontman of Wild Adriatic and for his high-energy solo acoustic performances. With a knack for blending rock, pop, and soul, Travis has spent over a decade captivating audiences across the U.S. and abroad. Beyond the stage, he’s a versatile creator—producing original music, lending his voice to studio projects including songs licensed in Maggie Moore, a comedy featuring Jon Hamm & Tina Fey, the NFL & video games such as NASCAR Heat, building an authentic connection with listeners through both live shows and digital platforms. Whether fronting a full band or performing stripped-down acoustic sets, Travis brings passion, precision, and undeniable charisma to every performance.

Aw hell yeah Appleton. Jones Park was thunderous last night. Two more times to catch the riffs. Tonight we hit Houdini Plaza at 10:10pm! by @wildadriatic

Arrived in Wisconsin for our final shows! We’re bursting at the seams to tear it down at each of our sets. Join us tonight in Jones Park, Saturday at Houdini Plaza and Sunday afternoon on the Lawrence University Lawn. Our Mile shirt is on our webstore and we’ll have everything else we got left at the table for ya.

It’s strange to be writing about our final shows. A lot of you have come up to us asking why, lamenting the end and graciously sharing your stories about how we’ve been a part of your lives. I’m really grateful that we’ve gotten these moments with people. That was the whole point of announcing the end, doing these final shows and hugging the heck outta y’all.

A lot of the stories y’all have shared were about time spent with us outside of the shows. I’m really proud of the connections we’ve made and the ways we’ve been able to show up for the people who found something in our music. We’ve been your wedding bands, helped plan & execute engagement proposals, played your living rooms & backyards, lived in your houses for a week at a time, befriended your children & families and gotten to know a whole mess of amazing people along the way. This has been the supreme privilege of our time as a band.

I’ve been an avid listener of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast since it first came out. Recently, Marc announced the end of his 16 year run hosting the podcast. One sentiment stuck with me from his recent announcement that I’ll leave you with: “It’s okay for things to end.”

The important part is that our friendships are intact, our music lives on and ya just never know what might happen.

Big hugs,

Mateo & Wild A by @wildadriatic

Wow! These New York shows have been amazing. Thank you all so much, but we’re not quite done yet! Appleton… Let’s wrap it all up with a bang this weekend as we return to Mile of Music.

I was going through our messages the other day and saw a few folks asking about festival merch. We put our annual Mile shirt up as an online-only order this year. We won’t have this shirt with us at the fest but still wanted to offer something special to commemorate these final shows so feel free to order those if you’d like. At the festival, we’ll have “The Final Shows” posters for $10 and the rest of our regular merch that’s left.

We have always loved to have fun with our merch. As a revenue source for a touring band, it’s an absolutely vital tool. But it’s also been a way for us to be silly, to try some stuff & create some special things to mark certain high points for us. I was in line to get merch when seeing my favorite band last year and a bunch of people were complaining about the line. Growing up I always loved the merch line and I still do today. It gives me time to look at everything a band offers & usually meet a new friend. I always wanted something that was unique to the tour. I wanted to say with my shirt: “I was there, I bought a ticket, I sang along as Styx raged Blue Collar Man at the Civic Center and I can prove it!” (Full Post continued on our Facebook page) by @wildadriatic
