On a cold night, under a lonely streetlight, a man calls the municipality police seventy times asking to be arrested. Not because he committed a crime… but because he has nowhere else to go. When the policeman arrives, what seems like a ridiculous misunderstanding becomes an unexpected encounter between two men carrying invisible wounds...

One city. One walk. Countless stories.

The first Beirut Narrative Walking Tour reminded us that the best way to discover a city is together. Thank you to everyone who shared their curiosity, questions and passion for Beirut.

What began as a walk through Downtown Beirut became something far greater.

Thirty curious minds, countless conversations, forgotten stories brought back to life, remarkable architecture rediscovered, and a community brought together by a shared passion for this city.

The Beirut Narrative has never been about simply looking at buildings. It is about understanding the people, the ideas and the history that continue to shape Beirut, one conversation at a time.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, asked questions, shared memories and made this first edition such a memorable experience.

Special thanks to architect Omar Harb for generously sharing his knowledge throughout the walk, to Tarek Kawa for an inspiring conversation that concluded the day, to Elie Keissy, Executive Producer and Co-Founder of Wild Cherry Productions, to Pierre Vincent Firman for beautifully capturing the event behind the camera, to Solange Trak, and to the entire District 7 team for their warm hospitality and unwavering support.

This is only the beginning.

🎥 A reel capturing the highlights of the day will be out very soon. Stay tuned.

Beirut Narrative comes to a close with a final episode featuring architect Bernard Khoury.

In this concluding exchange Beirut itself takes center stage through his perspective, its tension between past and present, its layered streets, and the constant negotiation between memory and reinvention. He opens up on what it means to design within a city that refuses to stand still, where every structure carries both intention and contradiction.

A final chapter that leaves the series where it belongs in conversation with the city it explores.

This Sunday at 7:00 PM on SHFT

On The Beirut Narrative, Camille Tarazi joins the conversation to reflect on his work and creative process, sharing insights from his architectural journey.

He explores architecture as a language shaped by context, memory, and the subtle details that define how spaces are lived rather than just built. From concept to execution, he opens up about the ideas and principles that guide his approach to design.

A thoughtful exchange about craft, intention, and the quiet storytelling embedded in architecture.
