It’s NOVEMBER- let’s keep the vibes going This October was genuinely one of the best months I’ve had. Every week was so great . Running Chicago had to be my top moment but it was still so hard to choose because life has been really good to me lately. I’m still thinking about race day and can’t wait to run my next race (let this be manifestation for NYC🧡) Spent some really amazing quality time with friends and family. Took the time to go admire the leaves :) Got in all the outside runs before daylight saving. Send help, this is depressing. Columbus coffee and matcha roundup ☕️🍵 Been trying alll the new spots and I have some thoughts. In no particular order, here we go! Ravellos: I have heard soooo many great things about this place and was so excited to try it. Overall, I loved the atmosphere and vibes were immaculate. Drink wise, I thought it was good, but not life changing. I did the pumpkin waffle latte and I got mine half sweet since they told me their drinks normally are very sweet. That was definitely the right move. I also appreciated that they had almond milk. Moonbird: Literally have had this place in my list since I moved to grandview. I had my coworker pick it up so need to see the truck in person but it looks adorable. Overall matcha flavor was great but I didn’t get the vanilla and mint notes . Maybe because I got it less sweet? Will have to go back and test again. Bonus points for the cutie cup Pistachia Vera: this has been my favorite so far. I really need to explore German village more because it is sooooo cute. Meghan and I got the pumpkin cloud latte and matcha. Flavor was absolutely amazing. The perfect balance of sweet and matcha. Plus the lady was so nice and gave me free cookies since I told her it was my first time 🥹 Winn winn: Maeve and I loveddddd it here. We both got the black sesame miso lattes with salted fig cold foam. I loved peanut butter and the sesame notes were lovelt. Andddd they gave me cutie sprinkles. Will def be going back Maanis: holy moly. The mango lassi matcha is everything but and more. Definitely more of a dessert drink, but the menu and cups really have me ranking it high. Matcha me: I’ve posted these but they deserve a new ranking. Now that I’ve tried other places I think they have lowered on my list. I love the vibes and flavors they offer but the actual matcha quality is not as good as others I have tried. Flavor wise I put lavender and strawberry first, then mango, then fig (ik crazy coming from me). Overall I just think their drinks are a little too milky #columbus #columbuscoffee #foodie #foodblogger #matcha by @wildflowerbites

Chicago 26.2 ⭐️ 💙🏃‍♀️❤️ Chicago marathon recap for WFbites because there’s a a lot I still have to say. I really feel like Sunday was a full circle moment for me. Last year I went into the Columbus marathon just hoping to finish after getting hit with health issues. On top of that, it was quite possibly the worst weather possible on race day. I still had a great time and proved to myself that when things don’t go your way they can still turn out to be really wonderful moments. However, I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. The Columbus marathon taught me to trust the process and await the delayed gratification. Chicago was my moment. I got the most perfect race day on Sunday. Literal sunshine the whole time and I felt unstoppable. AND while I am always aware that I have the best friends and family as supporters, last weekend extra special. Thank you to everyone who believed in me and helped me achieve my dream of qualifying for Boston. There were so many moments that day where I knew my late aunt Jocy was with me. I met a lady named Kate at the start line and noticed she was wearing a dragonfly necklace. She mentioned that she almost took it off and decided to wear it last minute. Dragonflies are for Jocy, after she gave my mom a necklace right before she passed. I knew that was yet another sign it would be a great race no matter my time. She was with me the whole time I know it. Chicago really taught me to trust myself. Going into my post grad job I often got the question of “how are you gonna have any time to run?” People always say you have to make sacrifices, but I honestly feel like I did the opposite. Running has become an even more important outlet for me since graduating. It continues to remind me that I am strong and capable. I will never forget this moment of my life. I have so much to be grateful for. #chicagomarathon2026 #runner #bankofamericachicagomarathon by @wildflowerbites
What’s on my plate for marathon weekend. I CANT BELIEVE TMR IS THE DAY! Feeling all the nerves, so distracting myself with the fun stuff aka eating hella carbs is the move. 🍞🍌🧂🍯🥝 Food is fuel baby. Sourdough. Honey. Maldon. Coffee. Banana. Pasta. Protein. Trusting the plan and trusting the body to bring me to the finish line is scary but so exciting! Let’s do this baby. #chicago #chicagomarathon #foodisfuel #foodie by @wildflowerbites
