POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It took 45 hours to create this homage to the peace that the olive trees represents, the love of the Palestinians for their orchards…the true indigenous of Palestine, and the ecocide committed of hundreds, if not thousands, of olive trees that the genociders are destroying.

$2/ticket, etransfers accepted to wildhedgenest@proton.me, password: Falastin, and I’ll send you video confirmation of ticket drop into the raffle box, just message me with your first name and contact information.

All the funds raised go to the Palestinian Childrens Relief Fund when we collect $900…the time and value of the piece. I’ll post proof of the donation when the funds get donated.

Much love,
Claudia

PS
I refuse to use this platforms fundraiser option because no money should go through the corrupt hands of the warmonger, pedophile Paypal mafia!

DO YOU FEEL BETTER IN GREEN SPACES? by @wildhedgenest

I truly appreciate all the wonderful praise, awe, and joy my creations elicited from so many of you this weekend!

It’s let me know I’m on the right track with my mission to help us reconnect with Mother Nature.

So many of us thankfully still have the ability to appreciate just how awesome she is and that we are still a part of it.

Nourishing our hearts and souls is important during these times of trouble and grief because we need to look forward to a future we are willing to work towards.

I’m looking forward to that future together with all of you!

Much love,
Claudia

Finally got my new tent up to create a ‘healing’ space…as a visitor just told me.

Hopefully you’ll also consider it so as well to make up for the time you took to pass through here.

The challenges we all face in the world today gets us all down, but I’ve realized that I need to ensure I create at least a little joy in my life to be able to endure the distress.

I’m so eager to share my creations with you guys and would love to see your faces, shake your hands, and give you a hug❤️

Much love,
Claudia

Btw…awesome musicians playing on stage right now!

When you know, you know…and finally I feel happy looking at this😍

I did what I could to take photos that give a sense of the true colours and textures that 25+ hours of hand embroidery creates.

I’m loving what it evokes within me…I hope it does the same for you, and I’d love to chat about it with you when you come see me and all the other creators at Queen West Art Crawl in Torontos Trinity Bellwoods Park next weekend Sept 19 & 20, 2026, 11am-6pm.

A beautiful day strolling through the park and seeing amazing creations sounds like a nice couple hours to me😊and I look forward to seeing you!

Much love,
Claudia

Phew! Third time trying to share this…is it now charmed?

If you saw my previous blundered attempt to get this out you’ll know that this was a piece that I originally created in in 2021.

Since then I’ve been able to come up with new techniques, and when you consider older works, you sometimes realize it no longer meets your standards.

For those who’d like to replicate this leaf technique, which I enjoy the result of, it’s created with a single strand of no.3828, no.3045, & no.738 #dmc embroidery floss.

If anyone requests a tutorial of the technique I’m happy to do so.

If you live in the Toronto, Canada area, come out to see it up close and personal this Sept 19 & 20, 11am-6pm, 2026 Queen West Art Crawl in Trinity Bellwoods Park…Art in the Park😊

What do you think? Was it a good choice to remove the fern? Yes/No?

Hope I get to see your friendly face!

Much love,
Claudia

“The Gaza Genocide is not happening in my name” - Stephen Kapos, Jewish Holocaust Survivor

WATCH HIS VIDEO: https://youtu.be/AxLtxX7kPcU

“NOT IN MY NAME EITHER”…Claudia Winkelmann, a first generation Canadian born of German immigrants!!!

I spent so much of my early years having the atrocities of that holocaust traumatize me over and over again as lessons in my German language school and throughout the history lessons throughout every year in high school! That people could and can do this to one another is a crime against humanity!

The power infused leaders in this world that decide to put their own people in harms way in order to demolish another peoples are psychopaths with not a single ounce of empathy as they’ve insulated themselves with money!!!

Shame on our #liberalpartyofcanada and all the brainwashed #canadians who support them, as #canadaiscomplicit in many if todays war crimes across the globe, but they’re also fully lock-step involved the #palestinian #genocide!!!
