🏆 AUSTRIAN BARISTA CHAMPION 2026.

Our barista Madalin did it! He won the Austrian Barista Championship at the Vienna Coffee Festival and is officially Austria’s Barista Champion 2026.

We’re incredibly proud to have Madalin as part of the Wildkaffee team. All the work, training, coffee, pressure and countless details paid off.

And this is only the beginning:

Next stop → TOKYO 🇯🇵

In 2027, Madalin will represent Austria at the World Barista Championship in Tokyo.

Congratulations, Madalin. You earned it. 💚

Do you know @wildkaffee ☕️🔥

It’s a speciality coffee roastery founded in 2010 by former professional athletes Stefanie (alpine skiing) and Hardi (ice-hockey) Wild.

They run the roasting space and 2 cafes in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany. Recently, they joined forces with @martinwoelfl_mw to bring Wildkaffee closer to their international guests by opening a showroom and later coffee shop in Vienna!

They supported our recent YouTube video, where Martin shared their go-to brewing recipe for washed coffees at Wildkaffee Vienna. Have a look! 🙏
