Busselton, WA

So nice to go home to see Mum. Such a bustling town now and with endless places to visit. The most beautiful beaches, we never tire of visiting the south west and the kids would stay here with Nanna forever if we let them. A very special place to us ❤️

Thanks for having us mum! X taken in Busselton, Western Australia by @wildlingsadventurer

Broome, WA

We spent roughy 2 weeks here and loved it! We stayed at the RAC and the Discovery caravan parks. We visited Coconut Wells a couple of times because we were obsessed! We preferred low tide and spotting all of the turtles, just spectacular and pretty much had the place to ourselves.

Simpson Beach was absolutely stunning, the contrast of red and aqua blue is just something else. Though the crocodile warning signs were a bit unnerving.

We visited the night markets and weekend markets more than I can count! We went to the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park and had a great time watching crocodiles get fed. We visited the Willie Creek Pearl Farm & Siena was lucky to be chosen to extract a pearl, of which she is now the proud owner.

Gantheaume Point was a very cool spot to explore. We indulged ourselves with a boat tour, spotting snub-fin dolphins. We became hooked on Matso mango beers, spent most evenings watching the sunset on Cable Beach and admiring the camels as they strolled past.

We had some very fun times and met some special friends here. Beautiful memories made. taken in Broome, Western Australia by @wildlingsadventurer

Lawn Hill, QLD

Wowee this place has got to be one of our trip highlights! Absolutely stunning. You have to work for it, by kayaking down the gorge and then you are rewarded with a wall of waterfalls.

We weren’t sure if we would swim knowing there were freshwater crocs, but after 5mins kayaking in the heat there was no way we weren’t jumping into that oasis!

Phenomenal.

And a huge thanks to the lovely @wanderinggaleas who took great care of our Elly dog so we could do this day-trip xxx taken in Lawn Hill Gorge by @wildlingsadventurer

Daly Waters & Larrmiah, NT

A couple of outback pubs on our way south to Central Australia.

The Daly Waters is iconic and had plenty of quirk to keep us entertained. Really as Aussie as it gets!

As soon as we unhitched a menagerie of animals wandered past and quickly I was wrestling our rubbish bag from a cow! A donkey even managed to gobble on our eldest’s T-shirt! A very funny place and we enjoyed dinner with new friends.

As for Larrimah, tell me have you seen the documentary?! taken in Daly Waters Pub by @wildlingsadventurer

Such a beautiful beach, with stunning ocean glimpses whilst walking through woodlands. I shot a client here once and had it on my list to return with the fam. Golden hour is magical here. taken in Shoreham Beach by @wildlingsadventurer

Warrnambool

We had a fun afternoon learning about Australian wildlife @warrnamboolwildlifeencounters with @jennahkingphotography

Couple of photographers, one came without a battery and one without an SD card, so we managed to get some shots, passing the camera between us and feeding animals and tending to kids with the other 😄 taken in Warrnambool, Victoria by @wildlingsadventurer

Uluru, NT

I have always wanted to visit Uluru and it was better than we could have possibly imagined. Nothing prepares you for the size and the constant changing colours or the calm feeling that washes over you when you’re near. We spent 8 nights here and we felt sad to leave. This place just feels special and familiar, even though you ve never been. It really does feel like the heart of this beautiful country.

Another awesome free camp in Queensland! We watched the sunset sitting on the edge of a waterfall, then lit a fire. Lots of fun croc spotting here! taken in Leichhardt Falls by @wildlingsadventurer

Alice Springs, NT

We were lucky to visit twice, on our way to and from Uluru. We enjoyed exploring the West MacDonnell Ranges, we checked out Simpsons Gap, Standley Chasm and Ellery Creek Big Hole. In the East MacDonnell Ranges we saw Emily and Jessie Gaps and visited Trephina Gorge.

We enjoyed a beautiful sunset at Olive Pink Botanic Garden as we hiked up Annie Meyers Hill amongst the wallabies.

We loved catching up with @swhitelum and finally meeting @skyegrimmy xx taken in Alice Springs, Northern Territory by @wildlingsadventurer

Kata Tjuṯa, NT

A fun overcast afternoon exploring Kata Tjuṯa. It’s about 45 mins drive from Uluru. We completed the Walpa Gorge Walk and the Karu Lookout (part of the Valley of the Winds).

This place is incredible in its own right and so big! The tallest peak is about 198 metres higher than Uluru. taken in Kata Tjuta by @wildlingsadventurer

Esperance, WA

We enjoyed a short stay in Esperance catching up with my sister and our travel buddies. The beaches are phenomenal and we mostly saw them in overcast weather, so can only imagine how much they would shine when the sun is out. Wharton beach was a highlight for us, crystal clear water and sand so clean and white it squeaks. taken in Esperance, Western Australia by @wildlingsadventurer
