The semi-reals all gathered together for a summer BBQ! They had a lovely time eating, chatting, and toasting to the four summer birthdays in the group! 🌭🌽🥂🎉 They’re joining @toyboxgeists and @muriels_obsession for #dollysummerfest! Happy 3rd Birthday to the OG, Kirri! 🎉🌈🎂 As my first Smartie, Kirri’s birthday also represents my anniversary with Smart Doll! She’s a special one for sure. Every time I look at her up close, I marvel at her delicate rainbow whiskers. She’s my happiest Smartie too, always with a cheerful smile. It’s not that her life is perfect or she’s unbothered by things, but she loves sharing her joy with others and making them feel welcomed. Kirri and I thank you and everyone in the Smart Doll and greater doll community who have been so kind and shared in our doll joy over the last three years! I had a wonderful time at Puddle 2026 - a Pullip doll convention that welcomes all doll types (the Smarties really turn out)! I met up with my Internet friends @dreaming.dollie and @lifeinboston101 in real life and made new dolly friends too! I loved the opportunity to shop, chat, and admire everyone’s dolls! My girls, Lumi and River (the pink haired Blythe) had an amazing time hanging in the cat cafe designed by our amazing table captain! Please meet Beatrix aka Bix! She is a cozy cottage core girly who loves granny hobbies, nature, and of course all things bunny rabbit! Her hair is often windblown from working in the garden or a picnic in the forest. 🐰🧵🧶🧺🌳🌲 Bix and I enjoyed a stroll through the farmer’s market on our last day of sunshine for awhile.I didn’t bond with the tea Smartie I got for Christmas over two years ago and decided to keep the body with the hope of one day procuring Summer! I eventually got her head and this spring I finally snatched her wig (teehee). I was out of funds for eyes, so I set to making my own for her. I had experimented previously but it was still lots (and lots) of trial and error. I designed her eyes in Procreate, created eyeballs in TinkerCad to 3d print, and poured UV resin over them from a little kit. We’ve had two weeks of chilly weather so we’re back to cozy sweatshirts! Lumi is showing off her new high rise pants and semi-cropped sweater. I modified both from my usual patterns. Lumi and Apollo are also debuting Diorama 2.0! The first one was lost to a Pinterest fail and I’ve been rebuilding since December, with new and improved everything, including a new couch and art! I’ll continue to fuss and tweak, since that’s half the fun, but it is at least finally ready for photos! Which is good, because I’m sure hot weather will be back soon enough and I’ll be wanting to stay inside!PS - I was recently gifted the lil planter pot and it made for the perfect housewarming gift! 🪴☺️#smartdoll #smartdollstarlight #diorama by @wildmagic.dolls

Kirri enjoying some reading on a lovely spring morning! We both enjoy our Kindles because we can adjust the font size and spacing. Kirri and I are currently immersed in the fantasy world of Raybearer. A cool breeze started to pick up so Kirri pulled up the hood of her favorite cozy cardigan by @joshybearhuggies! Isn’t it gorgeous?! She’s been wearing it all winter and I finally found the perfect t-shirt fabric to pair with it!
