NO SPOILERS I haven’t watched the last three episodes! Really excited to see Pike take center stage this season though, I really loved cosplaying her. Thank you @squidlyuwu for letting me borrow the outfit for Momocon! I def want to cosplay her more, I felt really pretty!

It was really neat meeting @ashleythejohnson who created Pike for @critical_role ! I can’t believe that was her first ever DnD character! Did not enjoy the 3 hour line though haha. I get it, Ashley is popular but woah I thought buying a ticket ahead of time would’ve avoided that. I’m glad I did it though!

Loved making dice bags, I am really enjoying workshops at cons this year! I def want to make dice bags for all my characters!

The meetup was super fun, even though we were late. Thank you @tts_trash for hosting! I’m sorry I didn’t get to tag everyone, I had such a hard time finding people. Please let me know though and I’ll add the tag!

Loved Momocon, loved getting to cosplay Vox Machina with @squidlyuwu & @primrosepandacosplay , I’d love to return!

“The greatest joy of magic lies in searching for it.” - Frieren the Slayer

Sometimes I think about this anime and cry over how good it is. As corny as it sounds, it has really made me approach TTRPGs differently. Particularly the wizard class which was once my least favorite class to play. I was even intimidated to cosplay Frieren because I feared having to spell her name over and over in the caption but also because I didn’t think I’d be able to embody her well. She’s cute, sure, but she’s really wise. She’s the type of character I don’t think I’d be able to play well in DnD but I’d love to have someone like her at the table.

I can’t wait for more seasons, I’m going to try to not read the manga because every time I do I stop watching the anime, and I’ll exercise control like Frieren is able to and just wait for episodes to be released.

Saturday of Momocon!

From here on out it’s all Critical Role! I cosplayed my favorite goblin, Nott The Brave (no comma) while @primrosepandacosplay wore her handmade Jester and @squidlyuwu cosplayed her favorite character Beau. We had a photoshoot with @camcammeiiphotography before our group shoot with the cast of @critical_role ! Matt said something to me as we were leaving along the lines of looking incredible and I’m going to ride that high for the rest of my life.

Afterwards I met Sam Riegal as the character he created and he let me pickpocket his wallet for a photo (great idea Allegra!). They go by quick but a lovely experience nevertheless

I met a bunch of Critters and took a bunch of photos, the cosplays were really good! We washed off the body paint and played Daggerheart in the TTRPG room. I played a blood hunter and wow what a treat that class was. I’ve never done so much melee damage in my life! Hopefully I’ll get to play one in a campaign someday.

🩶 Friday of Momocon! 💜 Part One

Our first time at Momocon and we are really loving it! During the day we started off at the workshop making a stained glass D20 with @primrosepandacosplay ! We were a little disappointed that they were mono colored and purple was taken, but me and @squidlyuwu were able to find two kind souls to trade their middle pieces so we could trade half of our others to each other and get unique ones! It was extremely fun though and we definitely wished we could’ve done the other one they were offering.

Cosplaying Imogen and Laudna from Critical Role was another ship to add to our long list of cosplay ships! I very much enjoyed this one despite not being ultra familiar with Bells Hells, their aesthetic was really lovely! I liked the characters a lot! Thank you @squidlyuwu for lending me the cosplay to wear, I had a blast doing it with you!

We had photoshoots with @amiephotos & @adoylible , both of which we lucked out with the rain and were able to get our photos done outside. The previews on the back looked GORGEOUS, I can’t wait!

We left to change before I went back for the Idolfest with @primrosepandacosplay and I’ll make another post for part 2!

💙 HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALLEGRA! 💚

If you noticed my shift in content you have Allegra to blame! I’m now a full blown Critter- recently caught up on campaign 4 this week! And have completely fallen in love with DnD, even moreso than idols or cosplay. I am so appreciative that Allegra is always involving me and is supportive of sharing her hobbies with me- it’s made us so much closer!

And a note to Allegra: We’ve known each other for oh gosh 8? years now? While I miss playing Valtaris tonight I hope you’re having a great birthday and I can’t wait for our next photoshoot. Cya at DnD on Sunday! 🙎🏻🐈

Magfest 2026!

Oh gosh how fun. So glad I got to attend over the weekend, it was a bit last minute for me but that ended up being a blessing because I had zero obligations and just lived in the TTRPG rooms. I had moved just recently so the cosplays I wore were basically the first ones I found. Raphtalia is always a favorite and I should really wear her more often, I genuinely love wearing her outfit. Punk Rock You was really cool but cold. My schoolgirl Espeon was.. a choice to say the least.

I ended up playing 3 DnD one shots and 1 Daggerheart one shot. Gruff, my paladin dwarf, came with me to both Greyhawk adventures, I played a cleric in a really unique Megaman themed one shot, and played a katari ranger named Catniss Evergreen in the daggerheart one. I had a great time at each table and was so happy to have @squidlyuwu @sammii.cos and @ayyipyip with me at some of them!

Something new that I did and have never done at cons was attend workshops! I made gundams with @squidlyuwu, which was a fun thing to withness Allegra do lol. I attempted and failed at cross stitching pokemon at @naychan_ ‘s panel, but they did a great job teaching! And at @cosplayandkicking ‘s panel me, @squidlyuwu @sammii.cos @ayyipyip and @ru.cos made dice bags, definitely one of the highlights of the entire con for me! Afterwards we played The Witch is Dead, which is super silly and really fun for those who wanna stretch their skills in improv.

I really don’t have any complaints haha I had an incredible time, pretty flawless con, and plan to return next year!

Happy Critter Thursday and Merry Christmas!

I had so much fun doing Holiday Pike and Scanlan with Whimsy last year! It’s me, Whimsy! ✨🐇

If you know me from cosplay - hi! I created this little account for DnD and TTRPG. Feel free to follow along if it interests you, if it doesn’t no worries at all!

If you don’t know me: I’m Whimsy! My government name is Stephanie and using either name or even Rabbit is fine with me. This is my space for DnD where I plan to upload photos, share stories of campaigns, and make short form funny content- or at least I think I’m funny lol.

Wild Magic Rabbit comes from my favorite class (the wild magic sorcerer) and my favorite species (the harengon from wild beyond the witchlight)! Admittedly it’s a self insert character that I’ve actually never played… probably because I am her all the time and when I play TTRPGs I’d prefer to be someone new!

I’ve only been playing DnD for about a year so I consider my perspectives to be from a new player. I’ve also dipped my toes in Daggerheart and find it to be a really fun system to play! So step softly, stay curious, and see what magic grows here! ✨🐇 taken in From the Feywild by @whimsycosplay
