Wild Mountain NI is teaming up with Wicked Adventures Indonesia to bring you an incredible 12-day journey through Bali & Komodo National Park from 1st–12th April 2027.

And this is definitely No Ordinary Adventure. ❤️

We’ll leave the typical tourist trail behind and experience a completely different side of Indonesia — trekking through lush rice terraces, coffee and cacao plantations, traditional villages, jungle trails and waterfalls before swapping our hiking boots for life on the water.

Then we fly to Labuan Bajo and board our private boat for an unforgettable adventure through Komodo National Park. 🛥️🌊

A stunning hike to Slieve Foye, the Cooley Mountains’ highest peak, with breathtaking views over Carlingford Lough and beyond with optional @wildgourmetni packed lunch.

Starting in the colourful medieval village of Carlingford, we’ll climb steadily to the summit of Slieve Foye, where breathtaking panoramic views stretch across Carlingford Lough, the Mourne Mountains and, on a clear day, as far as the Isle of Man. After soaking up the scenery from County Louth’s highest peak, we’ll descend via the legendary Táin Way, following ancient trails back towards Carlingford.  This is a rewarding mountain adventure packed with rugged landscapes, rich history and some of the finest coastal views Ireland has to offer.

What are our hikes about?

Our hikes are not about racing to the top!

✨They’re about steady progress, shared moments, and actually taking it all in.

✨They’re about moving well through wild places, taking time to look around, breathe it in, and enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

✨Sometimes we walk, sometimes we stop, sometimes the conversation takes over.

✨We hike at a steady, supported pace, with space to stop, regroup, take photos, and simply be present.

✨Routes are chosen for their beauty, drama, and sense of reward — and we always adapt where needed to suit the group.

✨This is real mountain walking, done properly:
• Clear guidance
• Thoughtful pacing
• Encouragement when it’s needed
• Options where possible

You don’t need to be the fastest.
You just need to show up.

We’re heading back to the breathtaking Himalayas, teaming up once again with Namaste Nomad, and this time we’re taking on the spectacular Manaslu Circuit in Nepal!

Imagine trekking through remote mountain villages, crossing suspension bridges high above rushing rivers, experiencing the warmth of Nepalese culture and waking up to some of the most magnificent mountain scenery on Earth.

And then there’s the ultimate challenge… the mighty Larkya La Pass, surrounded by towering Himalayan giants! 🏔️

There’s something pretty special about watching the mountains come to life as the sun begins to rise… but we’re making this adventure even better! 😍

⛰️ 𝗦𝗟𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗬𝗘
Where the mountains meet the Lough 💚

Standing proudly above the beautiful medieval village of Carlingford, Slieve Foy is the highest mountain in the Cooley Mountains, rising to 589m.

And what a mountain it is. 😍

From its slopes and summit, you’re treated to magnificent views across Carlingford Lough, the Mourne Mountains and the surrounding Cooley landscape. Add in rugged mountain terrain, beautiful trails and one of our favourite viewpoints overlooking the lough, and you have all the ingredients for a cracking day in the hills. 🥾⛰️

Why not join us on Saturday 17th October when we head up onto Slieve Foy, visiting the summit and that amazing vista, before making our way down to join the Táin Way for a fantastic finish right back into Carlingford.

Competed in the Sprint Distance at the World Triathlon Age Group Championships in Pontevedra, Spain 🏊‍♀️🚴‍♀️🏃‍♀️

750m swim • 20km bike • 5km run

A tough, fast course and an incredible atmosphere from start to finish. Huge thanks to all the family, friends and supporters who cheered me on and helped make the experience so special.
