If I only had one hour a week to spend on myself, this is exactly what I’d do:

1. Put my phone away.
The world can wait.
2. Sit with the horses.
No fixing. No performing. No rushing.
3. Let someone else guide me.
Meditate. Get quiet. Breathe. Remember what I actually need.

One hour. Outside. With horses. Just for me.

If I had to start all over… here’s what I’d do
1. Stop doing things just because I’ve always done them.
2. Invest in myself before investing in anything else.
3. Spend more time with my horses doing exactly what I want, not the narrative I was taught.
4. Find women who want connection, not competition.
5. Build something that feels like freedom, not another job.

20+ years in the horse business, and somehow I’m just now realizing the magic was never just in the riding.

It was in the BEING. 🐎🌴❤️

Once upon a time… my to-do list ran my life.
There was no time to stop, to pause, to just be. I didn’t have time for that… Until I learned these habits that changed my whole barn life!!

-I started going to the barn without an agenda
-I spent time doing the things I’d rush through… like brushing or going for a walk with my horse
-I started sitting in the field with my horses so we could both just BE.

Things I started doing because I was tired of keeping everyone happy except me. 🤎

🌿 Got involved in my community to surround myself with women who get me.

🐴 Started going to the barn without a time limit, a plan, or an agenda. Just to BE.

☀️ Started making plans that actually give me something to look forward to.

🤍 Stopped saying yes just because I didn’t want to disappoint someone.

🌸 Made space for friendships that feel easy, fun, and supportive.

🌿 Started spending more time outside and less time scrolling through everyone else’s life.

✨ Let myself rest without feeling like I needed to earn it.

❤️ Stopped waiting for everyone else to be happy before allowing myself to be happy.
