POSTS STORIES REELS

You thought we were only here to tell you about where to eat, stay and explore? 🥰
🍫
But there’s a whole other story here, and we are so proud to work in the middle of it. 🤎💛

If you know a student who could benefit from the generosity of Mr & Mrs Hershey, please message us or visit mhskids.org for information!

If you’re planning a trip to Hershey, add this one to your “things I didn’t know” list:

In 1909, Milton and Catherine Hershey used their fortune to create a school for children who needed opportunity. More than a century later, that vision is still alive at Milton Hershey School, where qualifying students live and learn from pre-K through 12th grade with all costs covered.

And honestly? One of the sweetest things about living and working here isn’t the constant smell of chocolate. It’s seeing the way this beautiful community still rallies around kids and the legacy the Hersheys left behind.

We’re sharing a little peek at the place we get to call our most important workplace and a story that feels especially worth knowing if you’re visiting Hershey. ✨

And there’s never been a better time to dig a little deeper into the Hershey story… HERSHEY, a new film about Milton Hershey and his legacy, is coming to theaters this November. 🎬🍫 by @angel

Whether you’re coming for the chocolate, the gardens, the history, the food, the resorts or just a really good weekend away there’s so much more to Hershey than you might expect.

Save this for your next Hershey trip and head to our page for our favorite things to see, eat, experience + explore while you’re here. 🗺️ by @wildpreciousnow

✈️Soooo thrilled to be adventuring eVerYwhEre again! Try this easy transition for YOUR next travel reel (directions below)! Don’t you wish teleportation was an actual thing? ✨

Follow your leg down as you uncross it so you can cut the two scenes together easily. Touch the camera to your leg to close the frame/end the shot.
.
Shoot the next scene at your destination! Hold the camera face down on your left leg to start the shot and lift it up with your leg as you cross over revealing the new destination.

✨ POV: You found the perfect home base for a Jim Thorpe weekend… and suddenly you’re planning the whole trip. 🏔️

The Black House on Broadway is tucked at the quiet end of town, but close enough to walk to the good stuff—which, in Jim Thorpe, is A LOT. ☕️🎶🍷

Think:
☕️ Coffee + slow mornings on the porch
🚋 A ride through town on the historic trolley
⛏️ Exploring the No. 9 Mine & Museum
🎷 Live jazz + cocktails at Vic’s
🎨 Wandering through Cafe Arielle + the Stabin Museum
🍽️ Dinner, drinks & people-watching downtown
🚣‍♀️ Adventure on the river
🍷 A wine stop at Galen Glen
…and then coming back to a beautiful house, comfy beds, a modern kitchen, fast WiFi, and a bubbling creek behind you. ✨

And if you’re bringing the crew? The Black House sleeps 6–10 guests and has three private parking spots—which might be one of the biggest luxuries in Jim Thorpe. 😂

Honestly, you could fill a whole weekend here without ever getting bored… or you could sit on that porch with your favorite people and call that the itinerary. 💕

Save this for your next mountain-town escape + send it to the friend who is always one “should we just go?” away from a road trip.

Some of Lancaster’s best stories are definitely hiding in plain sight. ⏱️✨

As we’ve been getting ready for Lancaster Capital Day, we’ve been digging deeper into the people, places, and pieces of history that make this city so special and Hamilton Watch is such a fascinating part of that story.

And the building itself? That’s a story worth discovering, too. 👀

Capital Day is about more than celebrating one day in Lancaster’s past, it’s also an invitation to come experience the history that is still woven into this city today.

Come learn more about Lancaster’s incredible history, explore some of the places that helped shape it, and discover Hamilton Watch along the way.

We got a pretty special behind-the-scenes look at Hamilton, and we can’t wait for you to get to know them too. 🤍

📍 Lancaster Capital Day
📅 September 26
10am-5pm FREE festival centered around Penn Square

Come see what makes Lancaster so special, whether you call it home or you’re discovering it for the first time. by @wildpreciousnow

Okay, but… how cool is Lancaster, PA? ❤️

We started digging into some of the things that have happened right here in Penn Square over the years, and honestly, the list is WILD.

From Congress meeting here in 1777, to balloon launches, circus parades, JFK rolling through town, and generations of Lancastrians gathering in this same square… we’ve been making memories here for a long time and will for a long time to come!

On September 26, Lancaster is getting its very first Capital Day Festival, celebrating the day our city served as the capital of the United States in 1777. Make sure you’re following @lancastercapitalday for all the updates and sneak peeks!

We’re pretty excited about this one. Not just because we get to help tell Lancaster’s story, but because we (Christine & Joel) will actually be there volunteering and helping make it happen.

So, if you’re local, come hang out with us. Bring your people. Wander and explore. Learn something new. Eat something delicious. Make a little history of your own.

Because someday, someone might look back at this Penn Square and say,
“Remember when Capital Day started?” ❤️

Side Quests from the Suburbs: Lancaster City edition. ☕️🍷 (full itinerary below)

Are you following along for all the side quests and main quests?!?
Sometimes you just need a good cup of coffee, a little sunshine, somewhere interesting to wander into, something delicious for lunch, and enough time to follow your every whim and curiosity.

Leaving the house after a long day or week of work isn’t always appealing, but somehow it’s always worth it! This particular side quest from the suburbs took us through downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania: coffee, art, farmers market ,lunch, shopping, a little European wine tasting, and a lot of walking around with nowhere else we needed to be.

And while we’re happy to give you the itinerary below, the itinerary is not the point. The point is noticing, smelling and gushing over the flowers at each market stand.
Trying the thing you’ve never tried.
Taking the long way.
Indulging in the sweet treat
Buying the weird little thing you absolutely did not need.
Sitting in the sunshine for another 20 minutes.
Letting a Saturday be just a Saturday.

If you’re new here, we don’t make travel content so you can save it forever and never actually go.

We make it to inspire you to go live your own story. ✨

So if you’re into that kind of call to explore, you’re in the right place and if YOUR side quest takes you to Lancaster, here’s where we’d start in building a perfect day downtown:

☕️ Coffee: @endocafelancaster
🎨 Art / gallery stops: @lancasterartvault , @freimanstoltzfusgallery
🥬 Farmers Market: @centralmarketlancaster and make sure to visit @lindendalefarm , @pineapplehousecreations @brogue_hydroponics @seoulmateskoreankitchen @inspirationalblossoms to start
🍴 Lunch: @shotandbottle
🛍️ Shopping: @shop.larkstone & @curio.lancaster
🍷 Wine tasting: @vinebarcollective
🍨Sweet Treat: @theurbanfarmhousepa

Save this for your next Lancaster PA weekend, send it to your favorite wandering partner, and then go make the itinerary your own.

Where should our next side quest take us? 👀 by @wildpreciousnow

Fatal flaw or best trait?!

We have an incurable habit of chasing champagne moments on a teacher budget.

We will happily skip five mediocre outings to splurge on one unforgettable experience. We’ll drive a few extra hours for the better view. Hunt down the boutique hotel with the off-season rate. Order one incredible cocktail instead of three average ones.

Basically… bougie standards, budget strategy.

If you’re always looking for the most magical way to spend your weekends without spending your entire paycheck, you’re in the right place.

Follow along for road trips, hidden gems, romantic getaways, and proof that you don’t need a luxury budget to live a beautiful life.

Now settle the debate: fatal flaw or best trait?

“It’s not all sunshine and rainbows…” …except this week in Italy kind of was. 🇮🇹☀️

Thanks to @CurataTours, 🍋 we traded checklists for incredible meals, hidden corners, unforgettable conversations, and the kind of travel that makes you feel connected to a place instead of just passing through.

If Italy is living on your vision board, consider this your sign. And follow @wildpreciousnow for every stop, every bite, and every reason this trip stole our hearts as well as some sunshine and rainbows close to home too! ☀️ 🧳 🚙 by @wildpreciousnow
