When it comes to the greatest singer of all time, there is only one correct answer for me: Whitney Houston. 👑✨⁣
⁣
✨When Whitney was in her prime, there was truly nobody on this planet who could touch her vocally. The power. The range. The control. The emotion. The way she could take a song and make you feel every single word in your soul. There was simply no one like her!⁣
⁣
💫 To this day, I don’t think a month has gone by where I haven’t found myself on YouTube watching some of her live performances. Many of them happening before I was even born, but Whitney is timeless!⁣
⁣
📌Ever since I learned how to use a computer as a child, searching for Whitney’s performances became a ritual. And honestly, it will remain one for the rest of my life. ❤️⁣
⁣
👀 I’ll never forget the first time I discovered Whitney. I believe I was seven years old, The Bodyguard was playing in our living room, while my family was watching it, the song “I Will Always Love You” came on.⁣

I was stunned. Mesmerized. Emotionally overwhelmed.⁣
⁣
I didn’t hear a singer. I felt so much. And that is the kind of impact Whitney had!⁣

🪄Her presence, her voice, her spirit, her aura. There was something almost otherworldly about her. She didn’t simply perform music. She transported you. ⁣

👸🏾And then there’s Cinderella.⁣

✨✨✨Watching Whitney play the Fairy Godmother still feels like something that was written in the stars. ✨🧚🏽‍♀️ I would always think of her song Greatest Love of All, the song that reminds us the magic is already living inside of us. ⁣

🦄That same message lived in Whitney’s music, in her performances, in the way she told stories, and in the way she made people believe that anything was possible.⁣
