As the late summer sun gently dries the springs flowers, we gather, we dry, we mix. Chamomile speaks of gentleness, elderflower the need for awareness of the cooling sacred waters which run within, the dandelion flower because the sun and the moon are upon us- a constant reminder that in the peak of summer the feet no longer have their place in Spring or Autumn, that the summer is here, to be fully lived. Plunge into cold waters, dive your face into the Linden flowers, dance from sunset set till moonrise, be truly grateful for all of natures gifts. We are wild tea women. 🌞 by @wildtealady

Into the forest we wandered, searching for chanterelles, black trumpets, hedgehogs, red cages, and the occasional puffball or parasol, guided by the wisdom of @foraged.by.fern, @wildtealady, and @trewhitts. As we explored, we sang to the trees with @samleesong, calling to the fungi with our voices. By the river, we cooled off in hidden pools, serenaded mossy rocks, and enjoyed a feast of fire-cooked mushrooms, pumpkin sausage rolls, and a delish, walnut-studded farro salad. What a perfect way to kick off a gathering of Folk and Fungi. ✨ by @wildtealady

It’s a miracle.. quietly fusing, creating, breaking thru.. the seed makes its journey into the unknown. An idea in the darkness, a spark, a tinder.. bursting forth with one desire to survive and make a new. Why is there never any concern for Mary - of the Postpartum. No recognition of the natural birth? Where are her sisters, the women .. and who the hell are these men? There is a big gap in the story here.. why wasn’t Mary surrounded by wise women carrying herbs and bone broth.. she after all the creator the birth giver.. the story quite frankly stinks.Any Mother who has given birth naturally will appreciate the need for care and awareness.. respect and love, the portal opens and so it closes for all Mother creatures. When the efforts of birth are ignored can war and cruelty to one another be justified.How about adding Arnica, Mugwort and Camomile to the offerings .. gold altho anti bacterial would solve no function in a stable after birth, let the wisemen bring a hearty breakfast and warm water.. let them make sense #naturalbirth #homebirth #nature #peace #mothers #motherslove❤️ by @wildtealady
