Our rental came with a surprise wildflower field to watch the sunsets from, and it didn't disappoint 🌼🌸💐

The snowshoes finally got some action instead of a ride!
My heart is so full, we couldn't have asked for a better first snowshoeing experience even factoring in it being in the negatives and being socked in at the summit. We both needed some serious time in the woods, and this itched the scratch ❄️🥰 Big plans this year, lfg @cheledominique

30/50🎂 Maine Trip

You know I jumped on it when Mom pitched the idea of a trip to celebrate her 50th/my 30th birthdays.
This trip changed shapes many times, but we landed on an RV trip up to Maine in my grandparents camper. Mom had never been, and the last time I went in 2017 we were there for 48hrs.
This week was absolutely incredible, including all the chaos and occasional bad luck. I am so thankful that we took the time to do this together, and beyond thankful my momma is as cool as a cucumber and knows how to overcome and roll with the punches 💗💗

Days 1-3, below:

Day 1 (pic 16)-
Started later than anticipated; within 1 hour of leaving we had -1 paddleboard, -1 storage compartment door, almost took the roof off the RV by accidentally getting on Sawmill Parkway, and had to reroute because we were in a 12ft RV, changing the drive time from 9hrs- 13hrs. Good news; Mom's cat took well to riding in the RV, the RV drove well and we only lost 1/2 paddleboards. We ended up pulling off around midnight at a rest stop and slept for a few hours.

Day 2 (pic 14&15)-

We got to our campground around 10:30am and immediately started to attempt setup. Spent the day doing tourist stuff around Bar Harbor. Caught a neat craft market in town and grabbed lunch. Pic is of the photo I sent my Uncle who runs @goldeneaglervpark
because I found our hot water spraying out the side of the camper Tuesday evening around 9pm. Quick replacement hot water heater plug and we were good to go 💪🏻

Day 3 (pics 11-13)

Our campground overlooked the ocean, so I caught the sunrise all but one morning we were there.

We did an incredible hike where we crossed a land bridge, and had to time hiking out and back before the tide came back in. Pic 3 is when we first crossed the bridge and pic 4 is what it looked like before we crossed back over into town post hike!

July 2025

Bean and I went up to the Lake George area a few days before we had a wedding to attend so we could get some hiking in. Hit our first ADK firetower together, and I hit up the mountain we were lucky to have half a mile down from our place the next day🥰
To be honest, this hike started off nightmarish, and after a series of very unfortunate events and being alone, I wasn't sure I was up to finishing this hike. I'm so glad I pep talked myself into continuing on, it ended up being exactly what I needed after all. That's usually how it goes 💗⛰️ by @wildthymeblows
