Fun IDPA match today. Probably my best showing yet.

Reloads are feeling sharp as hell.

Wanted to go fast, send two rounds and move. Wasn't worried about having perfect accuracy, more concerned with speed today. Still waiting on the scores so we'll see how that played out.

If ya ain't first you're last 🏁🏁🏁

Go give @operationvetnow a follow and show some support for the veterans out there struggling. 🪖🇺🇲🪖🇺🇲🪖

Shoutout to my man @jack_mccormack6293 for letting me wear his meta glasses all day
@rayban needs to hire this dude as a sales rep, I think he convinced half the competition to buy a pair 🤣

"A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war, and afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands— love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper—his hands remember the rifle..."

Reloading off the table threw me off a bit, I went for my belt for a second before correcting, but the reload was still good.

Shot the first half in a weird ass order for some reason. Idk, the bell goes off and ya shit your pants sometimes but overall good run.

This is why I practice immediate action drills all the time. So I dont panic when shit goes wrong.

I was going to fast and sent the slide home before the magazine was fully seated. Training took over and I hit the TRB without even thinking.

Honestly not even mad it happened, shows me all the training is paying off.

Started working inverting, berimbolo, and crab rides last week. This is my favorite backtake from the crab ride, I wasnt taught this I just did it one day and it worked super well so now its one of my go to backtake options from crab ride.

One of my favorite parts of jiujitsu is discovering new moves organically, makes me feel like I actually know what im doing lol.

Shout out to all my students last night, this is pretty complicated stuff when you first start playing with it, jiujistu is difficult enough, doing it upside down is even harder. Everyone did a great job and was hitting it by end of class.

Yesterday me and my buddies got together for a shooting competition, we've done this every month all summer. We are all veterans, we all love shooting, and getting together with friends and challenging eathother is a rad way to spend a Sunday. Be it in martial arts, a basketball game or a shooting competition. Find your thing, get around like minded people. Get off the couch.

Life's to short man.

September is suicide awareness month and I unfortunately know way to many people who have fallen victim to it.

Between 120,000 to 140,000 U.S. veterans have died by suicide since the start of the Global War on Terror in 2001.

More than 30,000 active-duty personnel and veterans who specifically served durring GWOT have died at their own hands.

@operationvetnow mission is honor those who didnt make it home, and support those who did. There is life post service you just have to look for it.

If you are struggling or need help please reach out to us.
