Ardmoors just keeps getting better, the best trails yet. I took 3rd overall on the day after a mega day in the mud! Big up @tom_campana saving the day with the last minute mud tyres! Cheers @mick_kirkman for the photos! @stifmountainbikes by @wildwoolley

Dales Divide 2025, what a roller coaster.

1. Just having finished the short route on the pier at Arnside.
2. About 50k in, having a great time blasting through the dales with @jamesstapleton1 despite a pretty heinous head wind.
3. 140k in, pretty wet and cold after the first proper stop to get some food from the shop for tea. We were hoping the rain would have stopped by now after seeing the forecast but it kept coming well into the night.
4. I made it into York for about 1am and got myself some chips, sat under the Minster for a bit of shelter. This is where you could have the choice of taking the shorter 400k route and turning left, or carry on on the 600k. Being in a hole, cold and under fuelled at this point and knowing it was fair ways to go in either direction before finding somewhere suitable to sleep, I took the turning for the shorter route.
5. Sunrise just after packing up the bivvy.
6. & 7. Drinking a can of coffee I’d bought the night before to try and bring me back to life at 6:30am sat on the steps of a church.
8. Back in the Dales and having fun again, I made it to the Bothy where the guys from @restrap sorted me out with some noodles, good moral boost!
10. At the top of Cam High road, some climb!
11. Me ruined, back on the pier in Arnside, very grateful to @betha_outside and @danielle.dryden for having driven over to pick me up!

I want to say a big thanks for all the support and help, @stifmountainbikes and all the top guys there for sorting us out with the perfect bike for the job and last minute getting lights sorted, Mum and Dad for making me a load of cakes to fuel the ride and coming down to cheer us on and @betha_outside for all the great support before, during and afterwards! Thanks to @matt_crewther for building the bike up and @theo.cryer for the lend of the bags!

With a few lessons learnt now, I think I’m going to have to come back and give the full 600k a go next year 👀 taken in Arnside by @wildwoolley

Great to be back doing laps with Norman! Back in October he bulged a disc in his back and could hardly walk, and after a lot of physio and dog gym at home he’s back out biking! A big thanks to @aimeemosesvetphysio for getting him back to strength. by @wildwoolley
