Today’s upper body session. Main plan was to hit a heavy set of pull ups +75 lbs

The goal is effective reps: how many reps can I hit - with the best technique at the heaviest weight. Simple, effective ✌️ by @wilkeyser

Here are a few exercises to throw in before your next upper body session to get your shoulders moving and feeling better 👊

Lat stretch - Elbows shoulder width apart. Sink your chest towards the floor as your elbows drive down into the bench. Pelvis neutral you shouldn’t have a curve in your low back. Hold for 20-30 sec

Single arm Lat pullover - use a band or cable machine for this. Sit your hips down and back, big stretch at the top - drive your hand and elbow down and back.
8-10 reps each

TRX facepull - This can also be done using a rope or band. Drive your hands up and back towards eye level.
8-10 reps

Hit 3 rounds of this before your next upper body workout
