Felt a little bit like Forrest Gump this morning and just kept on running. It’s good for the mind.

Three new records, so must be doing something right.

My furthest distance ever in one go 13.5 miles.

Took seven minutes off my best (training) half marathon time.

Took 24 seconds off my 10K time.

When you don’t feel like doing something, that’s exactly the time to do it. Certainly it was a battle of the mind once I got to 10 miles, definitely wanted to stop, but pushed through and kept going.

A great day out at Concours of Elegance at Hampton Court. Lovely venue, relaxed and chilled atmosphere, lots of beautiful and rare cars. Beats being in the office.

Here are some of my favourite cars from the 100s on display.

A three day event running from 4-6 Sept.

New racing shoes tested, 1 minute 14 seconds taken off 5k time. Nice.

Not bad for an old (ish) bloke.

Next up, first half marathon in Oct. a glutton for punishment. NO PAIN, NO GAIN.

Happy I took a chunk off my 5k run time last night. Wanted to stop at 2 miles, but mentally did not give up. 32 second improvement. Happy with that. Not bad for an old bloke.

More chaos and incompetence is coming. God help us all. But hey at least Starmer is going. Worst PM and party pretending to run the country in my lifetime. by @will.i.wynn

A relaxing and chilled out Sunday, NOT.

Me and @lucaswynn_ did our first Spartan Super 10K (25 obstacles). VERY HARD. Can you believe we paid to do this to ourselves.

Here are a few pics and videos.

I am pleased I got 6th from 74 in my age group, 134 out of 1054 overall.

Lovely day out @salonpriveuk London.
The sun eventually came out, lots of lovely cars, a nice relaxed atmosphere, and a day away from the normal job. A day in one of my happy places.

Now back home to watch my beloved Crystal Palace FC hopefully get through to the semi-final of the UEFA conference league football competition.
