Bee pollinators play a crucial role in maintaining ecological balance and supporting agricultural productivity, which significantly influences our societal views and interactions with the natural environment.

$Loaded with pollen and still hanging on. Bumblebees can haul a serious fraction of their own body weight in the stuff, which is roughly you doing the weekly shop with a rucksack full of bricks. Shot at 1.5x on the @venuslaowa 180mm f/4.5 Ultra Macro APO, adapted onto the @canonuk R5 Mark II. Manual focus, handheld, about few frames before she lifted off. Two of them were sharp. Hanging on with everything he’s got 🐝

Three edits, one bee. Which one wins: 1, 2 or 3? 👇

Everyone runs from wasps. I got close enough to count the hairs on this one 🐝

They pollinate, they eat garden pests, and they still get swatted. Team wasp or team run? 👇

Should be this censured? 🔞🫣 I guess they did not expect a human with the super @venuslaowa 180mm macro 1.5x 📷

Red eyes, chequered armour, roughly 8mm of it. You’ve walked past a hundred of these this week without looking once

Tiny world. Completely alien. 🪰

Shot at a scale where you start noticing just how insane nature actually is.

Would you have stopped to look at this?
