“Steppin’ Out" is out now on @VizzTone

This is a Memphis Slim song that was famously recorded by John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers with @ericclapton back in the ’60s.

We started playing it live as a tribute to Eric when we were asked to open for him at Sandringham Estate along with @ronniewood and @andrew.low.37

Sadly, as you may have seen, that show has unfortunately been cancelled, along with all Heritage Live’s upcoming events.

We were due to be opening for Eric this Sunday, so rather than let the weekend pass without marking what would have been a very special occasion, we decided to release “Steppin’ Out” as a single instead.

I hope you enjoy our version — Please give it a listen, share it, and let us know what you think.

Harmonica: Will Wilde
Keys: Greg Coulson
Guitar: Bobby Harrison
Bass: Russell Carr
Drums: Steve Rushton
Recorded at Echo Studios by Jamie Maters
Mixed & Mastered by Wayne Proctor Drummer/Mix Engineer/Producer
Video: John Kye
