Damn racing injured is tough

Like always had a super fun weekend with everyone at National Champs and I love riding my Rage! Went in feeling good; but struggled with confidence coming over a mental block from last year, literally thought my shoulder was going to fall off in my race run after being relatively okay all weekend luckily it didn’t 😂

Deffo time for some rest & recovery so should be back to 100% and riding like myself again soon!!

So that didn’t go as planned but we are still learning!

Had a freak crash in Les 2 Alpes that injured my shoulder; I gave practice day a go at La Thuile managed 2.5 laps before I decided that it would be best to let it heal so I can be 100% for the rest of the season rather than barely rolling down that sick but brutal track!

Fingers crossed we should be all good for National Champs this weekend 🤞🇬🇧

What an experience for my first World Cup! Deffo too many smiles and too much laughing 😂
Conditions were proper gnarly but great fun! Didn’t make it into finals happy with p16 in the biggest field of girls I’ve ever raced with, but learnt so much once again and know that I’ve got a great base to build on!
Plenty more races to come this season I can’t wait for more - also the new kit is sick thank you @propain_uk

Another tough one for me unfortunately! After saying all I wanted to do this weekend was not to crash I had a big crash in seeding ending with a pretty sore set of hips 😂 so I decided to play it safe for race run and just make it down the hill to save myself and be all good for my first World Cup in Leogang this coming weekend which I’m so hyped for!! 🙌👊

I had so much fun in practice on Friday and Saturday the track was super sick and in such a nice area as well!

Tough day in the office for me but another learning curve 🙌

I enjoyed this weekend so much! The bike felt amazing; I was super excited and confident so I am proud of how I rode throughout the weekend despite a couple big crashes and some little ones (last slide)!

Maybe should have gone a little bit faster during seeding and stayed on the bike in race runs 😂

🥈 at the first national of the season! Crashed in race run and made a few too many mistakes. But I was feeling like I was on good pace and I’m happy with P1 in seeding, fastest middle split and only being a second off the win proving that the pace is there! I can’t wait for the rest of the season, bring it on 👊🏻

First race of the season, first abroad @ixsdownhillcup and first race in junior was a blast! Super fun track however when it came to racing couldn’t put a good time down, the big jumps and strong winds wasn’t the best pair so proved to be very challenging 🫣 but overall so good to get back between the tapes and be with everyone again!
