Finished up 49th at my first @isasurfing World Surfing Games here in El Salvador. Feeling underwhelmed with my result, but full of gratitude for the experience and the lessons this loss has given me.
This week I proved to myself that I do belong at this level and it’s fired me up more than ever to sharpen my surfing and come back stronger.
I’m hungrier than ever to get back to the international stage and push my performance to where I know it can be.
Massive thanks to uncle @jama_101 for being such an inspiring coach and mentor, your wisdom and belief in this young team means the world.
Off to Mexico in a few days... ready to chase some waves and reset.

You are never alone, It’s okay to not be okay, mental health struggles aren’t a sign of weakness, but a part of being human.
Mens mental health is a serious problem, and it breaks my heart that Bizza is another example.

Dear Billiam,
I’m gonna miss our childhood rivalries in and out of the water we had. The way you always lit up my face when I saw you paddling out into the lineup. Your positive energy and constant froth. How you managed to scare townies outta the water before you even hit double digits. Our surf roadies down the coast together. The pumping dawnies. The way you pushed me and everyone else to become a better surfer cause you were so fucking talented.
I always hunted you around the lineup cause I knew you were always in the right spot.
I wish you knew how much you were loved, respected and looked up to by me and so many others. I’m going to miss seeing you out on the bar getting barrelled as it’s going dark. I wish I could get to surf with you one more time.
A piece of Piha is missing without you.
Rest in love Bizza, I hope it’s 6ft offshore wherever you are right now❤️🕊️ by @will_hard1e

First time in the GC. Stoked to finally get over there, had a hell time!

Had a coupla doozy heats in the Lennox pro juey🤣 but managed to make a few heats and snag a =13th.

5th place for me at King & Queen of the Point. What an unreal experience competing for a @wsl wildcard into the Rags CT.
It stings to miss the final by less than half a point, but I’m proud to have put some heats together and I went out swinging.
Huge thanks to @surfingnz and @backdoor_nz for running such an epic event, more like this one please.

Sick trip over the ditch to Phillip Island🇦🇺
Got dusted by some aussies in the quey lol. But stoked to finally get over there and get stuck in. Learned a lot from the trip and it definitely showed me a few areas I want to keep working on.
Feeling motivated to keep grinding at home for the next run of comps before heading back overseas later this year🫳🏽🫳🏽
