The past few weeks have been a range of emotions. From graduation, to finishing my sports career, to losing a friend.

I first want to thank every teacher, coach, friend, acquaintance, and mentor for every ounce of success I’ve had these past 4 years. I wouldn’t be here on my own. Union High School has taught me so much about myself in a span of 4 short years and has given me the resources and tools to find success.

To every team I’ve been apart of thank you. Sports have had a huge impact on my life and through my Career I was blessed with the greatest sports experience imaginable. I got to compete everyday with not only great teammates, but great friends. The relationships I have built through sports will undoubtedly last a lifetime.

Unfortunately one of these relationships were cut short from me. I had went to grade school with Jacob but didn’t get to really know him until we started playing soccer together. Jacob was hands down one of the funniest people I had ever met. On and off the field he would make Jace, Cooper, and I laugh to the point of tears. When he started to hangout with us outside of soccer I noticed that not only was he one of the funniest guys I knew, but he was also one of the nicest. Jacob was there anytime you needed him and was always down to Earth. The impact you had on our lives is something we’ll never forget. #icedragonforever by @will_herbst3
