This year had marked change for me as a person as much as a climber. Feels good to focus on the process, even if the result stings a little. Being capable of a result does not mean it's promised.

Lead proved this, in quails my efficiency and mentality shined through. This is why semis burns because I stayed stuck in my trend of bottlenecks at nats. Due to count backs I landed at p.9 and then eventually p.10 as everyone scores changed for going to an unscored hold.

All season boulders had felt intimidating. It stems from an identity change from being the strong one, to the tactical one, that isn't complete yet. Squeaking into semis continues the theme of a season marked by buzzer beaters rather than flashes. Lots of puzzle pieces to put together, especially from my round in semis where I misread all but one of the climbs. P.25
.
Overall, I couldn't be more grateful for this year. This team, @clmbiq means the world to me. Although mostly under the guidance of @megclimbs and @ashleyclimbs every person has played a role in my growth. So happy to bring home 🥉as a team for lead. We going for 🥇next year 😼

Pretty psyched to sneak into semis after an unfortunate slip on route 1. Mentality and efficiency have improved so now its time to build up base for the rest of the season.

Youth Nationals 2025

Finger issues left me with only 7 weeks of climbing before Nationals so instead of trying to get back into peak shape in not enough time I focused on my mental perspective.

Lead p.11
Throughout the qualifiers for lead (2) I realized how effective this proved but after an unfortunate slip on the slab I was barely through to semis (3). Semis I found that same success as in qualifiers and was into finals safely. Although I don't feel that finals (4) showed how much I've learned through this short season I realize how much room there is to improve in all aspects of my climbing. Podium (5)

Bouldering p.37
During the 7 weeks of climbing I had maybe only 3 or 4 sessions were bouldering. The qualis climbs were very jumpy and that is something I just haven't done any of. Boulder 4 (6) my only proud boulder.

Thank you to everyone that supported me through my injuries and training (7)!! @vasyav87 @markkurtenbach @julie.kurtenbach @clairekgordon @malachi_donahoe @kessasoar @karson.hilgert @_blake_emerson_ @sylassprague and so many more I cant count.

Hueco Tanks 2025

After a long comp bouldering season it was to get out on some real rock. It was nice to avoid the bad weather at home and get some sun (and some sends). Glad to have had the most fun and focused crew out there!
