a special cube suspension designed by @lamala.suerte. My first “static” suspension in a long time but I still managed to dance with the flowers we hung on the rigging lines. I was so honored to be pierced and suspended with 10 hooks by women and queer people. Thank you to everyone who was involved in creating a such a special moment- @the_occult_therapy @ morwensaoirse @darkam_arcadia @18ctpincushion @trans.pierced @piercingbyluna // @antwerpsuscon 2026 taken in Antwerp, Belgium by @willatkins__

As we get close to our show Ash & Air this Saturday, we are reminiscing about our years of collaboration and friendship. We are excited to share our new work and see this as the inception of more artistic and performance opportunities to come. Meditating on this moment we wanted to extend our gratitude to some friends, teachers, and collaborators- without your teaching, support, and belief in us we wouldn’t have this exciting project to share.
Our amazing butoh teacher @vangelinebutoh who opened a new world of movement expression, created artistic opportunities, and continues to expand Butoh s place in our modern dance world. @anchors.aweigh / @the.skin.project for introducing, educating, and creating with us in suspension.
Our out of town and overseas friends who we wish we could share this performance with sending our love to
@santasangrebodyrituals @kukulcanrituals @darkam_arcadia @wildsuspensionteam @the_occult_therapy @aikobmba @bluddhistic @muddud @fokus.body.art @lamala.suerte @owscanlan @perceoreilles @italian_suscon_suspension_team @denver.suspension
Thanks to everyone who have supported us, created art with us, created memories, and believed in our art and vision.

Ash & Air this Saturday at Brooklyn Art House- get your tickets because we’re close to selling out!

Remember that game where you have to match pairs of images? My brain does that ALL THE TIME.
Bonus videos to lure you to come see @willatkins__ , @ghostinglass and I at @bk_arthaus on August 8th. (Tix link in bio)

I’M DOING A NEW SOLO!

A Waste of Sparrows
Sparrows have long been read two ways: as omens of death, or as joyful messengers. They live on that thin line between the two.
This piece is an exploration of life, death, and rebirth — not searching for answers, but tracing the small deaths and small rebirths we move through n miniature, in the space of each breath.
It follows the sparrow’s journey home — without asking us to go back.

I *might* end up upside down 🫣🤷🏻‍♀️ by @willatkins__

Gearing up to Ash&Air on August 8th, we have some gratitude to offer!

Our shared practice has largely been developed within the walls of @templenewyork.

While @willatkins__ and I are doing solos for this show, one of the things that keeps me going these days are the snippets of shared practice, experimentation, and choreography that we started to build here.

Thank you, @templenewyork , for the walls, beams, light, and your walls soaked in inspiration and madness.

1- exploration of tension
2- unexpected, much needed, challenge
3,4,- puppetry with @whippersnabs

Grounded in a rare collision of radical movement and sacred ordeal, Accabadora Presents: Ash and Air exposes the human body at its absolute limits. This uncompromising double-bill brings together two creators to dissolve theatrical boundaries through the raw, visceral fusion of Butoh and body hook suspension. As flesh meets steel, the performers challenge conventional limitations of pain, gravity, and presence, uncovering an intense somatic poetry on the ground and in the air. The performances straddle the line between the exquisitely beautiful and the starkly grotesque, subjecting the body to a profound ritual of vulnerability and transformation. Do not miss this exceptional theatrical event where the material world recedes, leaving behind a breathtaking landscape born of catharsis and transcendence.
Performances by: Will Atkins & Margherita Tisato
