2 ways to looks at this..

1. I completely undercharged this job. The client sent pictures via text, I estimated $100 - $130. the client thought that was high but eventually came back with, if I could keep it at $100 he would appreciate it. Seeing it in person, I told him it was at least a $200 job, but I'd stick to my price. He was understanding and offered to meet in the middle. Once i loaded it up, I realized it should've been a $300 - $400 job. The limbs were too big for the dump to take and I had to cut them the 6ft lengths. Didn't think to bring a battery sawzall and had to go get mine..

2. I got one of my first jobs off a $5 post on craigslist. took me 2.5 hours door to door even with the sawzall trip, and I made $150. half of that time was driving, and it was a beautiful morning before the humidity really rolled in. I learned some lessons on sizing loads, pricing, tools and payment system issues. And I got to help a fellow community member solve a problem...

I favor the latter!
I'm a silver lining kind of person. I'll get better with time, and I'm good with how it played out!

Drew is powering through! He just finished his 5th round of xhemo on thursday, 43 more to go. He is still high energy, and eating and poopin well and we are grateful he is doing so great! The doctors are extremely happy to see him respond in such a way. Thanks for everyones continued support, keep that healing energy coming.. its working!! 🤙❤ by @willbeaton3

The past 12 days have flown by. It started with a reactive lymph node removal surgery for a lump under his chin. Once in surgery they knew something was wrong and decided to take a biopsy and close him up. A couple days later he was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a cancer of skeletal muscular tissue. Today he is in surgery again for a gross total resection of the tumor. Once healed to the doctors liking, we will start chemo and probably radiation. We have an amazing team at #chkd_kids who are taking the lead. We are blessed to have received so much love and support, it is truly incredible!
