🎻Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto - Finale

Flashing back to the end of March with another clip from my concert with @yorksymphonyorchestra! This movement requires absolute concentration and for the performer to be completely energy efficient.

Part of this is effective bow distribution. Not wasting energy on notes that aren’t as important as the main line. The aim is to finish your bow stroke in the same place that you intend to start the next, allowing for streamlined and effective playing with as little faff as possible.
