One of the biggest blessings of marriage is the added people you get to call family because of it. Grandma Becky was the best of us.

My brother (@ddcohen5) said these words.. “She was an incredibly sweet and kind soul. There was something unique about her that made me feel like whenever we talked, there was nothing else she would’ve rather been doing.”

We first met Mary Brittan back when she was a student at Samford, serving as Panhellenic President. That year, we worked together on countless video projects bringing the Greek experience to life. Later, she directed a Step Sing show (Barbies long before Barbenheimer 😉) and asked us to create the backwall content for ZTA’s performance in the Wright Center, such a fun project!

Fast forward to when Will proposed… Mary Brittan reached out about having us travel to Orlando (our hometown!) to film their wedding. The answer was an easy yes.

Over the years, we’ve collaborated on many projects with Mary Brittan, but nothing compared to capturing her and Will’s wedding day. When we sat down with them in Birmingham, they shared that their dream was for their wedding film to reflect the love of Jesus — for them and for every person there that day.

We think this is our best collaboration with Mary Brittan yet.

August 21st, 2024.

The day my Dad’s life on this earth came to an end, sooner than any of us hoped or expected.

Thank you to those that knew my Dad, and loved him well. Thank you to those that have loved me, my brothers, and our family exactly as the gospel describes it during these difficult days. Your hugs, your words, your prayers, your acts of kindness, and so much more have provided a joy that is unexplainable this side of eternity.

I am so grateful. I was blessed with 34 years of my life here on earth with my dad and will cherish the memories. I believe my Dad was a man of faith. My faith gives me hope that my Dad “has seen Jesus face to face.”

We will celebrate his life on Saturday, September 7th at 10:00am at First Orlando in Faith Hall. Our family would love to have you join us in person or in spirit from afar.

Early this morning, my friend Richard crossed from earth into Heaven.

On this night back in May of 2019, I had the privilege of presenting him with the TFA Athletics Coach of the Year award. Several months later, he led the Boys Golf team to their first State Championship in school history. That was one of his proudest moments.

He was a friend, a golf coach, a mentor, a servant, and so much more. His impact is will last for generations.

I am more like Jesus because of Richard Combs. I’ll see you soon, RC! by @willco7

Mom, on this Mother’s Day, you deserve to be praised. I could say lots of things to describe you, but most of all, just thank you. Thank you for teaching us boys what it means to fear the Lord and walk with Jesus.
