A meeting between human and stone. An editorial together with @ATELIERBRANCUSI X @HART.MUSEUM X @SEEALLTHIS. Photographed by WILLEMSKANTINE. Now available in print. @MAZARINEW embodying the balance between human and sculptural body both breathing the same air. One formed from flesh, the other from stone. Personally, this project was a study of his work and his life, but for Brancusi that was probably one thing. Brancusi searched for the essence of life and nature in his sculptures, he believed that every form carried an inner life of its own. His sculptures speak a universal language. This editorial tries to catch or interpret that language. That of shapes, forms, materials. A unique opportunity to work in this close vicinity of his legendary pieces. Amongst others: The Muse 1917, Seal II 1943, The Cock 1935, The Kiss 1907, Timidity 1917, Caryatid 1943. A night at the museum.
