New composition - Lessons Learned

Last week seeing Jim McNeely’s music performed by such an amazing band, coupled with seeing so many old friends, teachers, and colleagues (and a great hang with @gideonforbesmusic) made it feel like a real celebration. It reminded me of the late hangs playing and hours long discussions about music and playing styles and what records were our favorite and even some straight up arguments. This is a tune I wrote last week trying to honor the feeling of remembering the good times and the times when it felt like I would never figure it out. I hope it resonates with you! taken in Western Connecticut State University by @willgormanmusic

Truly, there is nothing like playing a real Hammond organ. This B3 had some vibe on it too! Bass pedals make the entire experience.

This clip is from night 2 of 3 with @hankallenbarfield organ quartet at the Dizzy’s late night session. One more night tonight! We hope to see you there! taken in Dizzy's Club by @willgormanmusic
