I want to share something incredibly personal about the most special and strongest person in my life

Social media can sometimes feel like a place where we share too much of our lives, but I also believe this is the power of it being able to share something meaningful and celebrate the people we love.

For the last number of years, our mum has been fighting a battle that no person or family should ever have to face. I’ve watched one of the most important people in my world fight cancer, and through it all, she has shown incredible strength a resilience to continue supporting our family

Our mum has always been our rock, an incredible parent, grandparent and wife. She has been the heart and soul of our family, always supporting us, fighting for us and putting everyone else before herself and not once putting herself first. I genuinely wouldn’t be the person I am today without her.

This isn’t about asking anyone for sympathy. It’s about celebrating our mum, the incredible person she is, the life she’s given us, and the strength she’s shown through everything she’s faced.

I couldn’t be prouder to be her son.

That’s why I’ve decided to run the @cardiffhalf to raise money for @cancerresearchwales who have kindly given me a place to support the fight against this awful disease.

If you can donate, share this or spread awareness it would mean the world. i’ve put the link in my bio

Mum, I love you more than words could ever say and i am truly heartbroken. Everything I do, I do with you in my heart ❤️ by @williambchristopher
