I'm pretty proud of this one. I've often been running and operating large wine programs with the assistance of a Somm. It was long past my time to develop a proper educational foundation for a much more rounded Hospitality Expertise.

Road doggin with my favorite road dog. The next gig came up pretty quickly and it's tough for us to find sitters. With Kasey in LA it was just easier to drive down and fly out of LAX.

I'm heading to Atlanta now. Never been before but really looking forward to it. Not the least of it being I get to reconnect with my childhood best friend from over 30

Down to my last few days in DC/DMV. I will miss this view of the wharf and all the food smells that waft up to my room. There's been a lot of changes as of late that I haven't been very public about. Mainly because I'm not famous and that isn't a thing. Also, if you take your own photographs, you're not famous either. But I digress.

I didn't have any expectations coming here and that left me to a wide variety of experiences. I know that I've made some incredible new friends had a lot of excellent cocktails and tons of good food. It's wonderful experiences that I'll never forget. I'm so thankful for all the Geo tagging that our phones do. The more marks I get on my map the better I feel.

We'll be traveling to Italy soon! It's bad form to not speak any of the language and I'm looking forward to this. I hope my bad Spanish doesn't screw with my bad Italian. Or visa versa. by @williamcutting

Making sure they get my good side. Colonoscopy time today. Nothing serious just some routine routing around in the safe but, it's important.

I've put this off for too long at this point. My grandfather passed from colon cancer, my mother and grandmother from breast cancer. I need to do better about facing these losses more proactively and this is the first step. I'm five years younger than my mother was when she passed and it's scary.

Two incredible years married to this incredible woman. People have reminded us so often of how much fun was had at our wedding saying we "threw the best one so far". It's really a beaming point of pride for us both. We just wanted to throw a kick ass party with all of our friends so we might as well get married.

I was never more emotional than I was watching you walk to me. Surrounded by friends and love I was overwhelmed. Sometimes happiness terrifies me because the moments can be fleeting. But, I wasn't scared for this to be over as this was only the start on a miraculous journey.
