This season is teaching me that growth doesn’t always look like forward motion. Sometimes it means standing beneath an uncertain sky, rooted in place, choosing not to run when fear urges retreat.

Storms reveal what comfort can conceal. They shake the branches, test the roots, and uncover the strength of our faith, love, and willingness to remain present.

What is built with truth, intention, and genuine love may bend, stretch, and be reshaped by difficult seasons…but it does not have to break.

There is beauty in becoming, even when transformation feels raw and unseen, taking root long before the first signs of bloom.

I’m learning to trust the journey more deeply. Some things aren’t proven by how beautifully they begin, but by what remains rooted and still reaching toward the light after the storm. ✨ by @williamdemps1

Man, my heart is FULL! I truly appreciate ALL of the birthday love. Every text, call, message, post, gift, and thoughtful gesture… all of it! None of it went unnoticed, and it meant more to me than y’all know.

44 Chapter: Alignment

I’ve lived long enough to know that life doesn’t always unfold the way we imagined…but I’ve also lived long enough to see the grace in how God brings things together.

This year, I’m grateful for more than another birthday. I’m grateful for perspective. For the lessons that matured me, the love that stretched me, the prayers that were answered, and even the seasons I didn’t understand while I was living through them.

At 44, I’m learning that alignment isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about being honest about where you are, intentional about where you’re going, and willing to become who the next season requires.

I’m still growing. Still learning. Still creating. Still loving. Still believing. And thankfully, still becoming.

Some things I prayed for, I’m living in now. Some promises I’m still waiting to see. Both have taught me gratitude. Both require faith.

So I enter 44 with an open heart, clearer vision, deeper wisdom, and appreciation for the gift of simply being here.

No need to have all the answers today.
Just grateful for the journey … and aligned for what’s next.
