Not only is today #NationalMountainDay… but it’s #NationalStretchingDay!! And to say I ever saw myself climbing something like this— would’ve been a stretch!

The elevation gains, to someone who had lived in the Midwest his whole life until just weeks prior, truly could be felt. That being said, I’ll never forget the first time climbing to the “Top of Texas” at Guadalupe Peak, and I eagerly await a return again to that part of the state.

Whats your next mountain to climb? This one’s probably my favorite so far just for sentimental reasons, but I can’t wait to climb some others on my list. taken in Guadalupe Mountains National Park by @williamson_wanders

Looking back at one of my favorite adventures just outside Austin. 😍

Zip Lost Pines is one of those places I never get tired of visiting. It’s the perfect mix of adrenaline, incredible scenery, and getting outside.

🌲 Nestled in the beautiful Lost Pines forest near Bastrop

⚡️ Multiple high-speed zip lines through the treetops

🌉 Sky bridges and a rappel that keep the adventure going

👀 Incredible views of one of Texas’ most unique ecosystems

🚗 An easy day trip from Austin

It’s always a good reminder that you don’t have to travel far to find an unforgettable outdoor experience.

Come for the alpacas, stay for the incredible location and the mountain views. 🦙

We had SUCH an amazing time staying at the @soprisalpacafarm, and we can’t wait to get back! It’s hard to beat a great tiny home with everything you need, especially when you’re able to hang out with 100+ alpacas, two beautiful highland cows, and a location convenient to just about everything.

If you’re looking for a unique Colorado stay, this one’s worth adding to your list.
