Caught this tiny Toad to show a child who had never seen one, despite it living only metres from his house. Bufo Bufo or common Toad, lay strings of spawn unlike frogs. Beautiful creatures and part of wonderful nature. taken in Solihull, Birmingham, UK by @williamsteele13

Common Orchid growing in Moseley bog, blackberries in flower big time now, Cinibar moth, dead Mole found not killed and beautiful Ivar in Yorkshire out walking, love that dog and countryside up there. by @williamsteele13

Spring has sprung, May blossom brings bad luck if bought into the house. Slugs murdered the broad beans and the 60 year old tree stump got a free clematis cutting planted up it, In bloom for the first time. Spanish blue bells are very scented but also invasive. by @williamsteele13

Took Dad to the allotment yesterday and planted 75 seed potatoes, spring is such a beautiful time of the year. 8 years with Parkinsons and struggling, but still so determined to keep going, he's such an inspiration. by @williamsteele13

Whilst digging a fruit Bush out tonight, I unearthed these fornicating pair, they just couldn't wait to get to the pool. I was sorry to disturb them in the act but they are in the right place now for spawning. 🐸 by @williamsteele13

My Childhood park has 57 Canada geese over wintering on it, bird flu has killed one of them. The park itself has changed so much, this spot used to be a fine boat house for summer fun. In 1976 during the 🔥 summer the lake was a metre down and I walked straight across at this spot. by @williamsteele13

Plums rotting on the tree, I've never seen anything like it before. My own tree is laden with juicy Victoria's. Apples also falling early, it's been a strange year being so hot and very little rain. by @williamsteele13

Charlie my boy is in fine fettle, he crows at dawn and dusk, and most hours in-between, a fine natural countryside sound. He's tame as he was reared in the incubator, in the house 🐓 lovelly boy. by @williamsteele13
