It's all about the People

This was my fifth #macysthanksgivingdayparade to participate in and there was a moment that personally impacted me more than than any other. Yes, this moment rivals going viral as butter.

It happened somewhere around 6th and 40th. Running down 6th I took the detour off the avenue into the street to greet those who were in the less desirable spots of the parade. Giving high-fives and telling people Happy Thanksgiving - but then, without even thinking, I planted my foot into the police barricade. I lifted my head and shoulders above the crowd and what I saw I cannot mentally unsee.

I saw people standing shoulder to shoulder at least 70-80 people deep from building to building. I knew there were a lot of people, but seeing it from that perspective shocked me. So I lifted my voice as loud as I could and yelled, "HEY YOU IN THE BACK! WE SEE YOU! YOU ARE AMAZING! THANK YOU FOR COMING! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!! And the entire crowd cheered. As I jumped off the barricade - there was a cop that turned to me and said, "Now that was awesome," to which I replied, "It's all about the people."

In life there are those who get the front row seats on the avenue, those who are packed like sardines - feeling the inner squeeze of the crowd. Then those who are in the back - feeling like there is too much in the way, disturbing the good view.

I just want to encourage you that no matter where you are in life:
(1) You are seen
(2) You are amazing
(3) Your presence matters and
(4) I'm glad you are here - keep showing up!

99.9% of the hundreds of photos on my phone of Donny and the rest of us are either silly or have everyone smiling ridiculously big, especially me and the kids! 😂❤️
He brings so much joy and laughter into our lives and always makes sure we're having a good time!
Praying that this last year in your 30s is your best one yet! We’re so glad you’re ours!

I recently went to LA for a meeting and decided to reach out to the Los Angeles Dodgers. I told them I coached a 3rd & 4th grade team in New York that just happens to be the Dodgers too! They graciously offered to send some swag back for our boys!

A huge THANK YOU @Dodgers for making our New York Dodgers feel pretty special!

STORIES FROM 171 MAIN STREET…Yesterday, I had a few hours between meetings with our contractor and architect, so I took the opportunity to have my first prayer meeting at 171 Main Street.

Before there are services in this room, there are prayers in this room. And these were the first five songs for the first prayer meeting:

1. The Isaiah Song - Urshan College
2. Miracles (Never Thought I’d Be One) - Indiana Bible College
3. See My City - First Apostolic Church Sanctuary Choir
4. Send Me Live - First Pentecostal Church of Little Rock
5. It Is Done - The Pentecostals of Katy

There’s still a journey ahead, but we’re going to keep doing what we’ve been doing:** PRAY. GIVE. BELIEVE. Revival on Main Street!**

This is your giving in action! One of the biggest challenges for a North American missionary is purchasing or renovating property in order to have adequate facilities for church services. MTM provides grants of up to $25,000 to assist North American missionaries in purchasing property or remodeling an existing building. Thank you Donny Willis for your commitment to serving the people of New York City! We love you and are praying for you! taken in New York City USA by @willis.donny

What an incredible way to finish the 2026 Bible Quizzing season!

Proud doesn’t begin to describe how I feel watching Braydon and his New York Metro teammates compete at the North American Bible Quiz Tournament.

Braydon finished as the 2nd Highest Scoring Individual in both of his quizzes and made every question competitive.

Thank you to every person who invested in him this year. More important than any medal is the Word of God that has been planted deep in his heart.

We’re moving out of our little corner and right onto Main Street in White Plains, NY!

Westchester Church is officially under contract on a building that will triple our current footprint and place us in the heart of Westchester County.

This isn’t just about a building, it’s about creating more room for people to encounter Jesus, find community, and have their lives transformed.

You can be part of the miracle.
Visit the link in our bio to pray, give, and join the revival.

It’s official: 171 Main Street is UNDER CONTRACT!

For years, Westchester Church has served the Tri-State area with a simple mission: making life better through the power of the Holy Spirit. We’ve been faithful in leased spaces and in corners of commercial spaces, but God is calling us into a prominent place of service.

Right in the heart of “Mini-Manhattan,” this 10,452-square-foot permanent facility will more than triple our footprint, positioning us to reach a community of over 250,000 people within a 5-mile radius.

This is a historic moment for Westchester Church and White Plains. We are moving out of the corner and right onto Main Street!

How you can join the move:
Our local church family has already sacrificially raised over $400,000 and now we are launching a faith-filled, 60-day campaign to raise the remaining $300,000 to get to the closing finish line. Tap the link in our bio to learn more, view the floor plans and partner with us today.

Let’s have revival together!
