They say before the faces were carved into the side, the beauty of Mt. Rushmore was unpresidented. My wife won’t let me tag her in this post. taken in Mt. Rushmore National Monument by @willlds1

While driving across Colorado, my wife asked if there was anything special we wanted to see. Why yes! Yes there is! Being a lover of architecture and a child of the ‘70s and having a daughter who loves ghost stories, I knew just the place…..

Sadly, because of the beautiful mountains all around, it was actually hard to get a good picture. taken in The Stanley Hotel by @willlds1

I’m coming out of my temporary social media hiatus to show off some food. Spicy shrimp on crispy rice with shrimp cocktail and a sous vide cowboy ribeye for my wife’s Valentine’s Day dinner.

I made this tasty food to show my wife how much I love her and appreciate all she does for me and our family. She is such an amazing person!! by @willlds1

All is right in the world. At least temporarily. (Daughter’s nightlight shining through her bedroom door. She’s home for a few days.) by @willlds1

A testament to my son’s amazing abilities. This year he was given a solo in his High School’s marching band show. Getting a solo is rare and special, but even more so when it’s with the tuba. Ive never seen another show with a tuba solo. Every day he makes me proud. by @willlds1
