Gratitude (Pt 2.) My last post thanked people physically on the @rigginsco job site with me. But the generosity of many others also pushed me towards the finish line. Iā€™ll name some below: @tessahalldesigns @lubatonmurals @hil_matic @schuylerbeecroft for their time and shared knowledge @blairlybreathing the supreme lift guru @munfordnsons and @jessi.munford for putting me up!! @detour303 for giving the people all the mural knowledge they could want, for free on YouTube! @jedidiahjenkins for his book/audiobook ā€œTo Shake the Sleeping Selfā€ that is (continually) inspiring my next bike journey @armchairexplorerpodcast for the almost 40 episodes I listened to while painting this Jose and team at @sherwinwilliams on Aberdeen for their guidance @celsiusofficial well, I needed supplementary energyā€¦ It takes a villageā€¦thank you! taken in Hampton, Virginia by @willmunford_art

A post dedicated to the faces of folks who aided my lifeā€™s first gimongous mural project this summer at @rigginsco - folks who helped me paint, brought snacks, organized logistics, celebrated the project, and/or enabled and pushed me to accomplish this dream. These pics are only a fraction of those who had a hand in this - the others know who they are šŸ˜Ž But there is one person to whom I owe a particularly ginormous thank you. Tiffany (@thetiffanyweddle ) heads branding and creative strategy for @rigginsco . She helped me bring the vision, purpose, and execution of this artwork to life. She also snapped loads of photos and helped me document the process. Certainly I could not have done it without her aid, knowledge, and support. Itā€™s not every day that a client feels like a team member - but she taught me a lot about the value of my work and the people around me. Thank you for everything!! šŸ™šŸ¼šŸ™šŸ¼ Our mural reveal party brought many of my lifeā€™s most special humans together - best friends and parents of best friends, who have become my best friends in their own sense. The Riggins leadership team showed up to celebrate as well! The Munford boys @notthemumphs and @munfordnsons . This mural really did happen because of, and in many ways in honor of my dad and his lifeā€™s work. Mom aka 4x Employee of the Day. First to ever do it! Charleydog was runner up (pretty good for a dog) @mcdonalds need a mural? @notthemumphs holdingā€™ it down at the Corrugation Station (aka job site) Thank you Barry, Karen, and Justin for bringing me on! You all are the absolute best. @mountaincapmedia and @dancaudill.frame documenting the process for videos to come soonā€¦..legends! @dancaudill.frame and I dreamed of collaborating on creative projects as roommates back in Jackson Hole in 2023. I hope this is the first of many, my friend @lunawillowcreations taught me so much about transferring designs to the wall, matching paint swatches, having a great time, and dedication to really just being generally awesome @nery14alvarez2023 and I spoke almost exclusively in Spanish and came to be solid painting friends over the course of 5 days on the wall. When in doubt, hire a commercial p taken in Riggins Company by @willmunford_art

As @wellesmusic once said: ā€œWell I have a reason, I know why. Donā€™t do it just so theyā€™ll die. If youā€™re gonna kill a bug, Donā€™t do it just because. I like bugs and Iā€™ll tell you why - Theyā€™re alive and so am I Bugsā€ Wanted to make something for fun with a photo my iPhone took and drawings I made - something that explained the design inspo behind the theme of the @grandtargheebluegrass @grandtargheeresort Bluegrass Festival art and merchā€¦Bugs! Itā€™s good to be alive. Keep on bugginā€™! taken in Grand Targhee Resort by @willmunford_art

Targhee Bluegrass 2026! What a time. Some say our main character may or may not be inspired by a certain real life magician named Sierra. And bugs! Jesse likes those. Feel free to scroll and meet the supporting cast of characters, including the queen of time.. A gigantic thank you to the whole team at @grandtargheeresort for being great and trusting my art for a third consecutive year - Meredith, Jordan, Tony, Jill, etc etc. You put on a special festival! Canā€™t wait for next year ā˜€ļøšŸŒ»šŸ§™ā€ā™‚ļø ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€”ā€” - 5 color screen print - 18x24ā€ posters - 125 regular posters sold - 55 rainbow foil posters sold @procreate stats Tracked time: 45 hours 46 minutes Total strokes made: 33,872 (in other wordsā€¦.not A.I.) @kellerwilliams @sierraelizabethferrell @wellesmusic @railroadearth @thedevilmakes3 @thedanieldonato @yondermountain @mountain_grass_unit @shadowgrassband @lindsayloumusic @broscomatose @ajleebluesummit @timobrienmusic @kyletuttlebanjo @hogslopstringband @magootheband taken in Grand Targhee Resort by @willmunford_art

Final shots from the @rigginsco mural (Hampton, VA)! My goal was to celebrate the curiosity that we humans all carry throughout our lives, and how that energy leads us to create lives and communities that serve us and others. (More on this laterā€¦) Iā€™m excited about sharing more of the process and people that helped along the way, but for now I will just express my gratitude for all of those who supported me, stopped by to say hey, or honked from I-664 (whether out of approval or spite, Iā€™ll never know!) A special thanks to @rigginsco for having me. That was a hell of a ride with amazing people all around me. I will now commence to drown you in content from this project that was easily the greatest in scale and value in my lifeā€¦ Cheers! Will taken in Riggins Company by @willmunford_art

AVAILABLE: artist proofs! Here I am hiding behind these @cahoneydrops posters from @thecenterjh in delicious Jackson, Wyoming this June. Link is in bio/ā€œPrintsā€ page of my website willmunfordart.com 18x24ā€ 5-color screen print Printed ever so beautifully by: @hamsterlabs Regular paper: signed artist edition of 10 $50 + ship If ā€œartist proofā€ is a foreign term to you, it essentially means the artist gets personal copies of prints beyond the main run of posters sold at the event. It allows the artist to sell/embellish personal copies, which are considered rarer than the normal run. In this case, there are only 10 that exist! Honesty: this is my first AP run of gig posters and Iā€™m learning how it goes tbh - but Iā€™m psyched for more! Appreciate you šŸ™šŸ¼šŸ™šŸ¼šŸ¤™šŸ¼ by @willmunford_art
